Lead Software Engineer

About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer
In this role, you will:

• Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
• Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
• Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
• Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
• Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
• Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
• Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
• 5+ years of HTML (HyperText Markup Language) experience
• 5+ years of JavaScript development experience
• 5+ years of Cascading Style Sheets experience
• 3+ years of experience in Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, 2.1 or a combination of both
• 2+ years of experience in developing enterprise web applications using React JS with Redux
• 1+ year of SDL Tridion content management systems integration experience
• 1+ years of financial services / regulated environment experience
• 1+ years of development / support experience on Wealth and Investment Management Money Transfer platform; understanding of workflows / workflow automation in same environment
• 1+ year of analytics and tagging infrastructure migration experience with third-party products like Tealium or Adobe Analytics; experience ensuring continuity of tracking and reporting
• 1+ years working with Node JS, WebPack and other tools related to React Front End Development.

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+ years of web design and development experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience
• Ability to develop partnerships and collaborate with other business and functional areas
• Knowledge and understanding of application and web security
• Knowledge and understanding of technology performance: analysis and tuning for applications
• Experience with Windows or Mac OS-X set up and usage for React JS development
• Experience in unit testing code with JEST / enzyme / Jasmine / Mocha / Chai/ React Testing Library

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$143,000.00 - $224,000.00
