The Lead Cleaner provides the cleaning and upkeep of an assigned area. This position is for Lead is $22. per hour. High schedule flexibility required but most work is done between 6pm and 2:30 am, Monday to Friday with some overtime during the weekends. 40 hours of work, Full Time. Staff member should have prior knowledge and training to strip and wax flooring, carpet extraction, deep cleaning, polish and buff floors and much more. Expectations are that also regular cleaning is to be completed as needed.


 Pay: $22.00 per hour. The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicant’s experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data. 

Responsibilities
  1. Train custodians in proper cleaning techniques and ABM procedures.
  2. Supervise job performance. Follow up to see that work is completed.
  3. Perform cleaning routines in an excellent manner.
  4. Inspect buildings for quality and safety
  5. Respond promptly to alarm calls.
  6. Respond promptly and professionally to ABM and client requests.
  7. Correspond daily with night supervisor to review operations and receive

    Instructions.

  8. Provide immediate response to emergency requests.
  9. Perform quality control inspections including follow up to completion.
  10. Coordinate substitutes for custodians who are absent.
  11. Supervise, inspect and perform tag work.

Qualifications
  1. Previous lead experience.
  2. Excellent attendance
  3. Self-starter with strong initiative
  4. Good floor refinishing and carpet cleaning skills.
  5. Solid history of building security procedures
  6. Demonstrated ability communicate effectively with the public, clients, employees and ABM
  7. Good history of following and enforcing company and client policies.
  8. Demonstrated ability to correct customer complaints immediately
  9. History of safe work practices
  10. Great organizational skills.
  11. Must be a great ambassador for ABM and a strong member of the ABM family
  12. Must speak well of ABM and represent the company well
  13. Willingness and availability to participate in training requirements as directed by ABM
  14. Attend regular night lead meetings
