Five9 is looking for a Learning Experience Designer to join the Revenue Enablement team and help design learning experiences that help commercial sales professionals build capability, improve performance, and drive business results.

This role works alongside business leaders, subject matter experts, and experienced learning professionals across the globe to build solutions that support sales enablement initiatives — from needs analysis through evaluation. The right candidate brings a solid instructional design foundation, creativity, and strong organizational skills to deliver learning programs that move the needle on real business outcomes, not just completion counts.

Key responsibilities

 LEARNING DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

  • Design and develop engaging learning solutions, performance support tools, and sales enablement content — for global audiences, with guidance from senior team members.
  • Apply instructional design methodologies and adult learning principles — to create impactful learning experiences and build your performance consulting skills along the way.
  • Own defined projects and contribute to larger ones across the development lifecycle — from analysis and design through storyboarding, development, implementation, and evaluation.

NEEDS ANALYSIS & PERFORMANCE CONSULTING

  • Support learning needs analyses — and help translate business requirements into effective learning strategies.
  • Partner with senior team members as an internal consultant — helping identify performance gaps and recommend learning and non-learning solutions.

MEASUREMENT & CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

  • Contribute to measurement and evaluation plans — that assess learning effectiveness and business impact.
  • Explore emerging learning technologies, trends, and best practices — and bring fresh ideas into program designs.

CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PARTNERSHIP & PROJECT DELIVERY

  • Collaborate with business leaders, subject matter experts, program managers, and fellow learning professionals — to build high-quality solutions.
  • Apply project management skills — to deliver assigned work on time and aligned with business objectives.
  • Support a collaborative global team environment — that promotes innovation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.

Candidate requirements and experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Education, Business, Social Sciences, or a related field is required.
  • 2+ years of experience designing and developing learning solutions is required.
  • Working knowledge of instructional design methodologies, including ADDIE and adult learning principles, is required.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills are required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Experience or demonstrated ability collaborating with stakeholders and cross-functional teams is required.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset are required.
  • Exposure to commercial, sales, or revenue-generating organizations is highly recommended.
  • Familiarity with evaluation methodologies, including the Kirkpatrick Model, is highly recommended.
  • Exposure to designing learning solutions for global audiences is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with authoring tools, learning technologies, and digital learning platforms is highly recommended.
  • Interest in measuring business impact and learning effectiveness is highly recommended.
  • Sales enablement or sales training experience is a plus.
