About Finch

We believe every American household deserves access to counsel in life’s biggest moments. At Finch, we’re building the infrastructure to make justice radically more accessible. Our modern approach to consumer law automates the admin work and puts clients first, starting with personal injury.

Since launching in April, we’ve grown 10x and are now powering pre-litigation for top law firms across the country. We combine expert operators with purpose-built AI to handle intake, claim opening, medical records, police reports, lien management, demands, and everything in between.

We’re backed by Sequoia, Redpoint, and the founders & CEOs of generational companies like DoorDash, Ironclad, and Digits. We’re rebuilding how the law serves everyday Americans from first principles, and we’re hiring exceptional operators to help us scale it nationwide.

This Role

As our operational leader in the pre-litigation process, you’ll ensure casework is executed with precision, efficiency, and empathy. You will manage and mentor a high-performing team, drive quality outcomes for clients, and identify opportunities to streamline and scale operations across the board.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead, coach, and grow a team of legal operations professionals across a range of functions

  • Oversee key pre-litigation workflows—including claim initiation, medical record retrieval, police report follow-ups, and lien resolution

  • Drive quality and throughput across high-volume personal injury caseloads

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with paralegals, engineers, and leadership to improve processes

  • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement scalable solutions

  • Maintain high-touch communication with law firm partners and internal stakeholders

  • Cultivate a culture of excellence, accountability, and client-centered service

Your Team: Legal Operations

Our Legal Operations team values precision, speed, and care. We’re building a powerhouse of top-tier legal operators equipped with cutting-edge technology to serve clients with humanity. You’ll play a critical role in growing and shaping this team to meet the demands of rapid national expansion.

You Might Be a Fit If You:
  • You have 5+ years of experience in legal operations, healthcare, insurance, or other operational settings.
(Alternatively, you have 5+ years of experience as a PI attorney with a clear track record of involvement in operational improvements, process development, or team coordination.)

  • You bring strong people management experience, particularly in leading large or diverse teams.

  • You are highly process-driven and excel in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

  • You communicate clearly and effectively with both clients and attorneys.

  • You are passionate about building scalable systems and improving access to justice.

Why Join Finch?
  • Work alongside expert operators and innovative technologists

  • Join a mission-driven startup in hyper-growth mode

  • Help redefine how law works for everyday Americans

  • Shape the future of legal services from the ground up

Compensation

$125,000-$200,000 base salary + equity

Additional benefits include:
  • 100% coverage for health, dental, and vision

  • 401(k) retirement plan

  • In-office snacks, drinks, and daily team lunch and dinners

  • Flexible PTO (we trust you to take the time you need)

At Finch Legal, we believe in practicing what we advocate.

As a company dedicated to upholding justice and protecting people in the workplace, we are equally committed to fostering a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment within our own walls. We welcome and support individuals from all backgrounds and lived experiences — regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or veteran status.

We recognize that diversity strengthens our team, enriches our perspectives, and empowers us to better serve our clients and communities. At Finch Legal, inclusion isn’t just a value — it’s a practice.
