You Are:

A senior data architecture leader with deep experience in enterprise data platforms, insurance data ecosystems, and policy administration platforms. You bring a product mindset, strong architecture discipline, and hands-on delivery credibility to shape ALIP data solutions that are intuitive to consume, easy to extend, and aligned to the evolving needs of life insurance and annuity clients.

You will act as the product and architecture authority for ALIP data solutions, including ALIP, ALIP Staging, Q&I, Digital Connect, reporting, analytics, integration solutions, and future AI-enabled capabilities.

The Work:

  • Define and own the long-term data architecture vision across ALIP, ALIP Staging, Q&I, Digital Connect, reporting, analytics, and integration solutions.

  • Establish enterprise data architecture standards, principles, governance models, and architecture review practices for major ALIP data initiatives.

  • Own the strategic roadmap for ALIP and ALIP Staging as core ALIP product capabilities, improving usability, consistency, completeness, and business value of the data structures.

  • Define enhancements that simplify downstream data consumption for reporting, integrations, analytics, regulatory reporting, data warehouses, and enterprise data platforms.

  • Serve as the primary ALIP data architecture advisor for client implementations and strategic pursuits.

  • Help clients understand and leverage ALIP data assets, including ALIP Staging, within their enterprise data strategy.

  • Guide clients and implementation teams in mapping ALIP data structures to downstream applications, enterprise data warehouses, data lakes, CRM platforms, regulatory reporting systems, finance systems, and analytics platforms.

  • Create reusable mapping frameworks, reference architectures, accelerators, and implementation patterns that improve repeatability across clients.

  • Identify recurring client data challenges and translate them into product roadmap improvements.

  • Lead the evolution of ALIP data architecture toward modern, event-driven, CDC-based, streaming, and real-time consumption models.

  • Partner with product, engineering, delivery, and client teams to improve scalability, maintainability, performance, and ease of adoption.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary depending on business need and client requirements.

Here’s What You Need:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Data Architecture, Information Architecture, Data Engineering, or Enterprise Architecture.

  • Minimum 6 years of experience designing enterprise data models and large-scale data platforms.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with data warehouses, reporting platforms, operational data stores, and integration architectures.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Professional skills requirements

  • Strong understanding of API-based, event-driven, and distributed system architectures.

  • Experience defining data governance and metadata management strategies.

  • Strong communication, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to drive strategic initiatives across product and delivery organizations.

Bonus Points If:

  • You have experience within Life Insurance and Annuities.

  • You have knowledge of policy administration platforms and insurance operations.

  • You have experience with cloud-native data platforms and modern analytics architectures.

  • You have experience enabling AI or analytics use cases through governed, well-defined enterprise data assets.

  • You have external client-facing consulting experience and can operate across product, engineering, delivery, and senior stakeholder groups.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired as set forth below.
