About the Role

Hex is one of the fastest-growing AI-native data platforms, and enterprise is our next frontier: we're expanding beyond early adopters and digital-native customers to win the largest, most established organizations in the market. We're hiring an Enterprise Sales Manager to lead and build out the western portion of our Enterprise AE team as we scale into this next phase of growth. This is a true build role: you'll shape how we hire, ramp, and coach Enterprise AEs, and play a defining role in how Hex shows up in your market, from positioning to executive relationships to partner presence. You'll coach a team through high velocity, complex, multi stakeholder sales cycles, acting as a strategic partner to your reps as they navigate competitive, high stakes deals.

What you will do
  • Recruit, hire, and ramp a growing Enterprise AE team, building a repeatable onboarding and coaching program.

  • Coach reps through complex, multi stakeholder enterprise deals, from new pipeline generation to existing account growth, running deal reviews and call coaching that improve win rate and velocity.

  • Establish operating rhythms (1:1s, pipeline reviews, QBRs, call reviews) and coaching frameworks that raise team performance.

  • Partner cross functionally with RevOps, SDR, Marketing, and Product to sharpen lead quality, territory and account strategy, and sales tooling.

  • Help define how Hex goes to market with the largest organizations in our space, shaping positioning, buyer strategy, and executive relationships in your territory.

  • Travel as needed for QBRs, customer meetings, and team development.

Who you might be

You might be a fit for this role if you have:

  • A track record managing sellers through high velocity enterprise sales, both new pipeline generation and growing existing accounts, with 3+ years managing and scaling quota carrying AE teams in B2B SaaS.

  • Experience as a strategic deal navigator, coaching reps through complex, competitive, multi threaded deals.

  • Prior IC closing experience in complex, technical sales cycles (trial led motions a plus), and familiarity selling AI, data, or analytics solutions

  • Startup experience is a plus: we're looking for a creative problem solver who can build, not just operate inside a structured org already in place.

  • A consistent track record of hiring, developing, and retaining strong performers.

  • Strong operational rigor: forecasting, pipeline management, coaching cadence, and process reinforcement.

  • Comfort partnering across functions and influencing without authority.

  • Located in PT or MT regions

The on-target-earnings (OTE) for this role is: $288,000 - $400,000 OTE

In addition to our unique culture, Hex proudly offers a competitive total rewards package, including but not limited to, market-benched salary & equity, comprehensive health benefits, and flexible paid time off.

The salary range shown may be a reflection of additional factors such as geographical location and skill ranges/levels we’re open to. Placement in the salary range will be decided upon completion of the interview process, taking into account factors like leaving room for growth, internal fairness & parity, your demonstrated skills, and the depth of your experience. Our Recruiting team will be able to provide more details during the interview process.

By submitting an application the candidate consents to the use of their personal information in accordance with the Hex Privacy policy: https://learn.hex.tech/docs/trust/privacy-policy.
