Manager, Finance Integration I Core Payments: Blockchain & Digital Currencies
Overview:
The Manager, Finance Integration, Blockchain & Digital Currencies will drive finance readiness and integration execution in the Blockchain & Digital Currencies finance organization. This role will support the Finance Integration Lead (Director) by coordinating cross-functional deliverables, tracking risks and dependencies, preparing financial analysis, and ensuring integration activities are aligned with business objectives, governance expectations, and close / Day 1 readiness requirements.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong financial acumen, project management discipline, and the ability to partner across Finance, Product, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, HR, Sourcing, and Integration Management teams. This candidate will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, translating complex integration needs into clear actions, and supporting leadership with timely insights, decision support, and executive-ready reporting.
Role:• Support finance integration planning and execution for strategic transactions, partnerships, or business initiatives• Coordinate finance workstream deliverables across FP&A, Controllership, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, HR, Legal, Compliance, and business teams to support Close, Day 1, and post-close readiness• Maintain integration trackers, issue logs, milestone plans, and action item lists to ensure clear ownership, accountability, and timely execution• Prepare financial analysis related to integration costs, synergies, run-rate impacts, stranded costs, vendor commitments, and operating model decisions• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for integrated businesses, including transition costs, incremental investments, headcount, and ongoing operating expenses• Assist with month-end and quarter-end close activities for integration-related financials, including variance analysis, accrual tracking, cost allocation, and management reporting• Identify financial, operational, and control risks associated with integration activities and help develop mitigation plans, escalation materials, and leadership updates• Partner with Sourcing, Legal, and business owners to evaluate vendor contracts, transition service needs, commercial commitments, and procurement-related integration decisions• Develop concise executive ready materials, including operating reviews, steering committee updates, finance readiness summaries, and decision support documents• Drive process improvement and standardization across finance integration routines, including templates, reporting cadence, governance forums, and handoff processes• Support special projects and ad-hoc analysis related to M&A integration, strategic investments, business transformation, and finance operating model evolution
All About you:• Proven ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions • Strong proficiency in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance and accounting • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint • Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Strong project management skills including superior organization, planning, and follow through. • Able to foster a positive team environment and collaborate to produce outstanding results • Able to work independently, prioritize effectively and drive process improvement initiatives • Good knowledge of Business Intelligence tools and experience with financial systems/applications (e.g., Hyperion and Oracle) preferred• Advanced degree or MBA preferred.

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more. Purchase, New York: $125,000 - $207,000 USD
