As an Account Management Lead for the Eats SMB team, you will build and lead high-performing teams in an environment where the answers aren’t always clear and the stakes for our merchant partners are high. You will own the commercial strategy for your territory, making hard calls under pressure to ensure we win selection street by street.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and coach a team of Account Managers to build trusted relationships with restaurant partners and co-create growth plans that deliver real value.
  • Navigate ambiguity and internal complexity to unblock growth opportunities, managing trade-offs between short-term targets and long-term partner health.
  • Own your team’s regional performance by inspecting pipeline health and dashboards, course-correcting quickly when shifting priorities create pressure points.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Marketing, and Product teams to influence solutions that scale and remove blockers for our merchants.
  • Drive the adoption of new products and marketing tools across your territory, making fast, thoughtful decisions even when information is imperfect.
  • Manage a complex portfolio with discipline and urgency, ensuring your team remains resilient through tough negotiations and evolving workflows.

 

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Account Management or Sales.
  • 1+ year of experience in a people management or team lead role.
  • Experience in client-facing roles or leading teams with direct customer responsibility.
  • Experience managing stakeholders across multiple functional areas.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of coaching sellers and building high-performing teams in rapid-growth environments.
  • Proficiency in using data analysis to inform strategic decision-making and practical recommendations.
  • Experience working with CRM tools like Salesforce to manage pipelines and forecasts.
  • Strong systems thinking skills with the ability to build and address commercial processes.
  • Experience in B2B tech sales or the hospitality and restaurant industry.
Responsibilities

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The total on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is USD $151,429 - USD $168,571. The OTE includes a base salary range of USD $106,000 per year - USD $118,000 per year and an annualized cash variable incentive target of USD $45,429 - USD $50,571.

The cash variable incentive target is based on individual sales performance and its payment is based on the terms of the Sales Incentive Plan.


An equity award and other forms of compensation may be included in the offer. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
