Lead product marketing for Aeva's LiDAR product portfolio: define positioning, messaging, competitive analysis, go-to-market strategy, sales enablement, campaigns, and cross-functional alignment to drive awareness, demand, and revenue.
Aeva’s mission is to bring the next wave of perception to a broad range of applications from automated driving to industrial robotics, consumer electronics, consumer health, security, and beyond. Aeva is transforming autonomy with its groundbreaking sensing and perception technology that integrates all key LiDAR components onto a silicon photonics chip in a compact module. Aeva 4D LiDAR sensors uniquely detect instant velocity in addition to 3D position, allowing autonomous devices like vehicles and robots to make more intelligent and safe decisions.
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for the complete product marketing experience as you lead every facet of our growing product portfolio. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and marketing communications, you will help shape the representation of the Aeva product line and help grow our customer base. This means you will work cross-functionally with stakeholders in engineering, product, business development, and communications to create go to market initiatives and product marketing campaigns.
You will create and implement a narrative that reflects the inventiveness at the heart of our innovative technology and the needs of our customers, define business goals, audiences, customer journey, strategy, solutions, positioning, messaging, key tactics, budget and dependencies and then drive cross-functional consensus and enlistment to deliver business results
What you'll do:
- Be an expert on Aeva’s industries, customers, products, technology, and competition
- Develop, evaluate, and test new and effective marketing strategies to increase the awareness and demand for our products
- Partner with business development, product management and engineering to develop sales enablement materials and collateral including competitive research, decks, data sheets, webinars, web pages, product videos
- Create, position, and launch innovative marketing campaigns and content that drive awareness and preference for our industry leading products
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to define and validate business and technical requirements
- Serve as the technical and product advocate in support of strategic accounts
- Develop educational content for sales and/or customers
- Collaborate with sales and operations to forecast sales volumes
What you have:
- 10+ years experience in product marketing with specific background in technology and B2B environments
- 7+ years experience crafting compelling narratives for multiple products that drive high-level strategic decisions
- BS/MS in Engineering and Marketing or similar discipline
- Results-driven business leader with a sustained track record of generating revenue growth, market share and profitability in global technology LiDAR, Mobile Mapping, Automotive, fiber optic components
- Exceptional communicator with the ability to convey complex concepts in simple terms
- Proven ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment
- Able to move seamlessly between strategy and tactical execution
- Startup or entrepreneurial spirit with the willingness to jump in and get your hands dirty
