About the Role

As Marketing Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving company and product awareness, thought leadership, and demand across digital and real-world touchpoints. You’ll lead campaign development, product launches, manage social and content strategy, and own the execution of industry events—from booth planning to speaking opportunities.

This role is a great fit for someone with strong project management skills, a creative mindset, and with experience in marketing to technical audiences. It’s a great opportunity to work closely with the Nexthop leadership team and help amplify their vision.

Job Responsibilities

Content and Campaigns

  • Develop and lead marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth.
  • Manage content development strategy across formats - blogs, whitepapers, landing pages, social posts, case studies, and more.
  • Co-ordinate product go-to-market launches and announcements.
  • Analyze and report on campaign performance, making recommendations based on data and insights.
  • Develop successful  branding strategies for Nexthop products.

Events & Conferences

  • Own event strategy and execution—from identifying key industry events (AI, networking, infrastructure) to managing logistics, budget, vendor coordination, and onsite presence. Generate brand awareness at events.
  • Support speaking engagements and panel submissions for company executives and technical leaders.
  • Track ROI on event participation and experiment with hybrid or virtual experiences to expand reach.

Social Media & Community

  • Manage and grow our social media presence (LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.) with a focus on engaging engineers, data scientists, and industry influencers.
  • Plan and publish social content that aligns with product milestones, industry events, thought leadership, and cultural moments.
  • Monitor performance metrics and optimize based on audience insights.

Analytics & Optimization

  • Measure and report on performance across campaigns and channels (digital, events, content, social).
  • Use insights to iterate, optimize, and recommend new initiatives or improvements.

Qualifications: We're seeking individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative startup and possess exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong aptitude for taking initiative and learning. The following skills are essential for this role,

  • Bachelor’s degree with 15+ years of experience in B2B tech marketing, ideally in cloud, infrastructure, AI, Networking solutions companies.
  • Domain expertise in data center networking technologies, industry landscape and understanding of hardware and software is a must
  • Experience working with PR firms, Industry analysts to help position Nexthop products 
  • Experience managing events end-to-end—from planning to post-event follow-up and ROI tracking.
  • Hands-on experience with social media platforms and scheduling/analytics tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Proven ability to create and manage content aligned to broader marketing goals.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling abilities with a technical audience in mind.
  • Familiarity with tools like HubSpot, Webflow, Google Analytics, and LinkedIn Ads.
  • Bonus: experience engaging with open-source or developer communities, or organizing meetups/hackathons or working with AI tools for marketing
