Exa is building a search engine for the AI era. Our Search API currently powers Agents, Fortune 500s and AI labs as we transform an industry that hasn’t been disrupted since the 90s. We're a largely SF-based team of ~100 from Harvard, MIT, Meta, Google Research, ex-founders & dropouts alike.

We are rapidly building the most intelligent search engine in history. We’re high agency, low-ego, and united by the feeling that this is one of the last problems worth getting right.

The Role

On Exa's Enterprise Growth team, you'll own the engine that drives enterprise pipeline — from first touch to closed deal. You'll build and run multi-channel campaigns, partner tightly with sales, and use data to constantly sharpen what's working. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you'll build programs from scratch and scale them fast.

Who You Are:

  • You have deep experience in enterprise marketing, ideally at high-growth SaaS or AI companies where sales cycles are long, deals are large, and messaging needs to land with executives.

  • You’ve run multi-channel campaigns across events, content, paid media, and ABM (account-based marketing) to move deals forward and generate enterprise pipeline.

  • You’re comfortable partnering with sales leadership, building enablement materials, case studies, and deal-specific campaigns that help close six- and seven-figure contracts.

  • You have a data-driven approach: you use metrics like pipeline contribution, ACV influence, and win rates to measure impact and guide iteration.

  • You're comfortable with ambiguity and building from zero; high grit and hunger

  • You're a creative, out-of-the-box thinker who enjoys testing unconventional ideas

  • You care deeply about building perfect search and are excited about advocating for Exa :)

What You Could Do

  • Run outbound campaigns in collaboration with sales to open doors at target accounts

  • Develop and execute ABM programs targeting high-value enterprise accounts in close partnership with sales

  • Build sales enablement materials — case studies, one-pagers, battlecards, and deal-specific campaigns that help close six- and seven-figure contracts

  • Own paid acquisition and performance marketing across search, social, and other relevant channels — building campaigns that perform and scale

  • Lead Exa's AEO strategy — ensure Exa shows up when enterprise buyers use LLMs to research solutions, and build the measurement framework to track it

  • Plan and run OOH campaigns (transit, digital billboards etc.) in key enterprise markets to build brand awareness and reinforce digital touchpoints

  • Build the growth model and own the dashboards — use metrics like pipeline contribution, ACV influence, and win rates to measure impact and guide iteration

  • Use AI and automation tools actively to move faster and do more — this is a core part of how we expect this role to operate, not a nice-to-have

This is an in-person opportunity in San Francisco. We're big believers in in-person culture! In addition to premium healthcare benefits (medical, dental, vision), we also offer fertility benefits and a monthly wellness stipend to all of our employees.
