Our client, a world leader in semiconductors, is looking for a Senior Network Engineer based in Milpitas, CA.

Job Duration: Long Term Contract (Possibility Of Extension)

Pay Rate : $78/hr on W2

Company Benefits: Medical, Paid Sick leave, 401K

We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with strong expertise in Routing, Switching, and LAN/WAN infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, implementing, configuring, and troubleshooting enterprise networks. CCIE certification is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and support LAN/WAN network infrastructure.
  • Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, and network connectivity issues.
  • Work with routing protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and static routing.
  • Support switching technologies including VLANs, STP/RSTP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP, and ACLs.
  • Troubleshoot complex network performance and connectivity issues.
  • Support network implementation, upgrades, migrations, and project activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams and maintain network documentation.
Required Skills
  • 7+ years of Network Engineering experience
  • Strong hands-on experience in Cisco Routing & Switching
  • Expertise in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VLANs, STP, and EtherChannel
  • Experience with enterprise routers and switches
  • CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure preferred; CCNP with strong advanced networking experience considered.
