About Solace

Healthcare in the U.S. is fundamentally broken. The system is so complex that 88% of U.S. adults do not have the health literacy necessary to navigate it without help. Solace cuts through the red tape of healthcare by pairing patients with expert advocates and giving them the tools to make better decisions—and get better outcomes.

We're a Series C startup, founded in 2022 and backed by Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, Torch Capital, Menlo Ventures, Signalfire, and IVP. Our U.S. based team is lean, mission-driven, and growing quickly.

Solace isn't a place to coast. We're here to redefine healthcare—and that demands urgency, precision, and heart. If you're looking to stretch yourself, sharpen your edge, and do the best work of your life alongside a team that cares deeply, you're in the right place. We’re intense, and we like it that way.

About the Role

At Solace, we're on a mission to make healthcare more human and the way we tell that story matters. We're looking for an Organic Content Creator + Copywriter to join our growing Social & Influencer team. This is a writing-first creative role. You’ll be the person who takes campaign strategy and turns it into the copy and concepts that our creative team brings to life as statics and video content. You’re not just filling a content calendar — you’re shaping how Solace communicates on social, with a healthcare lens that makes every caption and brief land with the right audience. You have a background in healthcare or health tech, a sharp writing instinct, and a genuine curiosity about what makes social content perform. You can write a caption that’s both medically credible and scroll-stopping: resonating with our audience while staying on brand. You thrive collaborating with a creative team, communicate clearly, and keep everything organized in Notion.

What You’ll Do
  • Write copy for organic social content across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube — including captions, hooks, and on-screen text for static and video formats

  • Write first-draft creative briefs for the creative team — translating campaign strategy into clear direction on messaging, tone, visual concept, and timestamps for video content

  • Pull timestamps from our long-form Youtube to be repurposed into short form videos that perform on organic social

  • Apply healthcare knowledge to write copy that is accurate, accessible, and on-brand — making complex health topics feel clear and compelling for a general audience

  • Stay ahead of social trends, formats, and platform-specific best practices — working with the strategy laid out by our Social & Influencer Lead to bring proactive content ideas that feel native, current, and rooted in Solace’s mission

  • Maintain an organized content calendar and copy tracker in Notion and Linear, keeping drafts, feedback, and approvals easy to find and move through

  • Partner closely with the creative team throughout production — reviewing statics and video content to ensure copy, messaging, and voice are brand-aligned and landing as intended

  • Iterate quickly based on feedback — you’re not precious about edits and can turn revisions around fast without losing the thread of what makes the copy work

  • Support campaign content by writing copy for partnership briefs or branded posts that align talent voice with Solace messaging

Who You Are
  • 2–4 years of experience in content creation, copywriting, or social media — ideally in a healthcare, health tech, or wellness context

  • Background in a healthcare-related field or meaningful experience in healthcare marketing — you understand the space well enough to write about it accurately and compellingly

  • You live in Notion — building trackers, databases, and project hubs is second nature to you

  • Experience with Sprout Social as a content scheduling and analytics tool

  • Strong copywriting skills with a portfolio or examples of social copy, captions, or content briefs

  • Deep understanding of organic social formats across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts

  • Experience writing briefs or creative direction documents that others execute from — you can articulate a vision clearly enough that a designer or editor can run with it

  • Ability to move fast and manage multiple projects in parallel without sacrificing quality

What You Bring to the Table
  • Relentlessly organized — your systems and trackers are something other people want to copy

  • A strong communicator who knows how to keep relationships warm without dropping focus

  • Proactive and self-directed — you're always three steps ahead

  • Detail-oriented without losing sight of the bigger picture

  • Energized by mission-driven work and the chance to help build something meaningful

Who We Are

We’re a team of ambitious, mission-driven individuals working to make healthcare more human. At Solace, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to one of the fastest-growing healthcare startups in the U.S. — where your work has a direct, visible impact on people’s lives.

This is a fully remote position.

Applicants must be based in the United States.

Up for the Challenge?

We look forward to meeting you.

  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
