About this opportunity:
We are now looking for a senior PIDS Support Engineer to deliver expert technical support on product introduction, deployment, and customer support, resolve complex technical issues, ensuring system reliability and and drive high customer satisfaction across multiple regions. Working as a senior PIDS Support Engineer requires both deep and broaden knowledge within Packet core products and solutions. You will work, collaborate, and communicate in an international environment, interacts with cross-functional teams, designers, and customer technical staff.
What you will do:
- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve technical problems to minimize operational impacts on customer networks.
- Provide advanced technical support for FLV, FFI and deployment, addressing complex technical challenges in customer deployments.
- Troubleshoot mobile/core network components (EPC/4G: MME, SGW, PGW, PCRF; 5G: AMF, SMF, UPF, PCF, NSSF, AUSF, UDM, NRF) and related functions
- Take an active part in emergencies, contributing to timely fault isolation and restoration of customer solutions and networks.
- Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback that drives product enhancements and quality improvements.
- Mentor and train junior support engineers; contribute to global support processes and service improvements
The skills you bring:
- From New Grads to 5+ years in technical support or related engineering role;
- Rich knowledge of Packet Core network products and solutions (GTP, NGAP/S1AP, PFCP, Diameter, SIP, SCTP)
- Rich experience in troubleshooting and outstanding problem-solving skills
- Experience with NFV/cloud-native deployments, containers, Kubernetes, and orchestration tools
- Understanding of Linux/Unix environment, IP protocols and IP-based routing
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English
- Excellent collaboration skills and teamwork spirit
