This role will focus on providing high-quality administrative assistance, ensuring smooth execution of People programs and processes, and supporting data reporting needs across the HR function. As a People Ops Coordinator, you will help maintain data accuracy in Workday, streamline workflows, and support initiatives that enhance the employee experience at Nuro. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who thrives in detail-oriented work, values process excellence, and enjoys being a collaborative problem solver in a dynamic environment.

About the Work

  • Support execution and logistics of core People programs and/or processes (e.g., onboarding, offboarding, immigration, random drug screening initiatives)
  • Own and process employee data transactions in Workday and other internal systems with a strong emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
  • Perform routine audits and generate reports to ensure HR data integrity
  • Maintain and organize internal documentation; regularly review, update, and create standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reflect evolving team processes
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all HR-related questions (HRIS data, benefits, payroll, RTO, etc.)
  • Provide ad-hoc project support across HR programs and assist in compiling materials for team reviews, leadership updates, and compliance audits

About You

  • 2+ years of experience working in a fast-paced environment; familiarity with HR practices and principles preferred. Workday experience is a plus
  • Strong technical proficiency with G-Suite and AI tools such as ChatGPT, Glean, Gemini, and similar platforms
  • Exceptionally organized with a strong attention to detail—you take pride in clean data, well-documented processes, and timely follow-through
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Proactive and hands-on—you pitch in wherever needed, with no task too big or too small
  • Collaborative and service-oriented—you find energy in helping others and ensuring programs run smoothly
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and shifting deadlines—you bring a start-up mindset and embrace change with agility
