We are an in-office company, and our expectation is that full-time employees primarily work from their Applied Intuition office 5 days a week. However, we also recognize the importance of flexibility and trust our employees to manage their schedules responsibly. This may include occasional remote work, starting the day with morning meetings from home before heading to the office, or leaving earlier when needed to accommodate family commitments. This in-office expectation does not apply to contractor positions

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and ambitious People Operations Generalist to join our team! This role is ideal for builders who thrive in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and want to play a key role in shaping the foundation of our operations. As a People Operations Generalist, you will optimize HR systems, implement scalable and efficient processes, and ensure data accuracy to support strategic decision-making.

At Applied Intuition, you will:
  • Lead the development, enhancement, and management of People data and reporting, making sure we have accurate and actionable insights for decision-making

  • Optimize People systems and workflows across Rippling, Carta, Greenhouse, JIRA, PAVE, and more

  • Own and manage our rotation and mobility program, shaping strategy, policies, and process improvements while addressing employee inquiries

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

  • Point of contact for employee questions and matters related to rotations, benefits, leaves of absence, and time off 

  • Generate comprehensive reporting and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making 

  • Other People or general operations responsibilities as required by the People team on an ad-hoc basis

We're looking for someone who has:
  • 3+ years of practical experience experience in a People or HR-related role

  • Detail-oriented and data-driven mindset

  • Intuition and ability to identify potential areas of improvement in our operational cadence

  • Proactivity in problem-solving - you don’t just spot gaps; you fill them

Nice to have:
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience in high-growth technology companies, particularly in automotive or autonomous vehicle industries

  • Direct involvement in scaling startups from early-stage to larger organizational structures.

  • Experience with HRIS systems, people analytics tools, and large datasets

Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.

Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials & certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.
