About the team + role

We are building an elite team, applying frontier technologies to the world’s biggest financial problems. We’re looking for bold thinkers. Sharp problem-solvers. Builders who are wired to make an impact. Robinhood isn’t a place for complacency, it’s where ambitious people do the best work of their careers. We’re a high-performing, fast-moving team with ethics at the center of everything we do. Expectations are high, and so are the rewards.

The PeopleX Transformation & Operations team is reinventing how People services are delivered at Robinhood. We’re moving HR Operations beyond transactional processing to full ownership of the employee lifecycle, using AI and automation to deliver consumer-grade experiences for every employee and manager! We work hand-in-hand with People COEs, People Systems, and Enterprise Technology to drive efficiency. We hold our employee experience to the same high bar Robinhood sets for its customers. Our team is high-performing, fast-moving, and wired to make an impact.

As PeopleX Transformation Manager, you will be the builder at the center of PeopleX’s AI agenda. You’ll coordinate the AI roadmap across People teams, lead the AI Front Door for PeopleX Operations, and design and ship the AI solutions that transform how HR Operations works. You’ll help define what AI-native HR Operations looks like at a company built on technology, with the mandate to set the strategy and the skills to build it. This role requires technical depth, sound judgment, and the drive to move from idea to production in a space where the playbook is still being written.

This role is based in our Chicago, IL, Menlo Park, CA, or New York, NY offices, with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

At Robinhood, we believe in the power of in-person work to accelerate progress, spark innovation, and strengthen community. Our office experience is intentional, energizing, and designed to fully support high-performing teams.

What you’ll do
  • Lead coordination of the PX AI roadmap across People teams — prioritizing use cases by impact, feasibility and risk, and aligning investments into one cohesive strategy in partnership with PX’s AI strategy lead
  • Own the AI Front Door for PX Operations — enabling employees, managers, and contractors to get answers and complete HR transactions from request to resolution , with intelligent routing when human support is needed
  • Design and build AI agents, automated workflows, and hands-on knowledge solutions across Workday, ServiceNow and the broader PX tech stack
  • Partner with People Systems and Enterprise Technology to define requirements, shape platform decisions, and deliver solutions at scale
  • Reimagine HR Operations processes across the employee lifecycle — redesigning before automating, so work flows seamlessly from start to finish
  • Set the standard for responsible AI in PX Operations, balancing speed with the controls a regulated company requires
  • Define success metrics and report measurable impact on efficiency, quality, and employee experience
  • Build AI fluency within PX Operations, partnering with L&D, so the team evolves from processing transactions to owning outcomes
What you bring
  • 8+ years of experience in HR operations, HR technology or People transformation, including significant time leading technical programs across People, Systems, and Technology teams
  • Deep understanding of HR operations and the employee lifecycle, with experience redesigning processes and service delivery models at scale
  • Proven track record designing, building and deploying AI solutions in production — agents, LLM-based assistants or intelligent automation — with measurable business impact
  • Strong technical acumen across prompt engineering, workflow design and low-code/no-code automation, plus the ability to write clear requirements for technical partners
  • Ability to lead across senior stakeholders, technical partners, and competing priorities, bringing structure to ambiguity, and turning strategy into an executable roadmap
  • Sound judgment on data privacy, governance and responsible AI
  • Experience with Workday and ServiceNow (HRSD) strongly preferred; Greenhouse a plus!
What we offer
  • Challenging, high-impact work to grow your career.
  • Performance driven compensation with multipliers for outsized impact, bonus programs, equity ownership, and 401(k) matching.
  • Top Tier benefits to fuel your work, including 100% paid health insurance for employees with 90% coverage for dependents.
  • Access to the Robinhood Employee Fund that gives eligible US employees the opportunity to invest in a private employee fund that provides exposure to Robinhood Ventures funds.
  • Access to the best AI tools on the market and continuous AI skill-building for every employee, technical or not.
  • Lifestyle wallet - a highly flexible benefits spending account for wellness, learning, and more.
  • Employer-paid life & disability insurance, fertility benefits, and mental health benefits.
  • Time off to recharge including company holidays, paid time off, sick time, parental leave, and more!
  • Exceptional office experience with catered meals, events, and comfortable workspaces.

In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus opportunities + equity + benefits.
