TL;DR: We’re looking for a Product Brand Designer to shape how White Circle looks and feels across our website, product, and brand. You’ll design landing pages, build visual systems, create graphics and illustrations, and explore motion, 3D, and other ways to make the brand feel alive.

About us

White Circle is an AI Safety company building the safety, reliability, and optimization layer for AI systems. At the core of our platform are policies – simple natural-language rules that define what an AI model should and shouldn’t do. We automatically test, enforce, and continuously improve these policies at scale.

  • We’ve raised $11M from top funds, founders, and senior leaders at OpenAI, Anthropic, HuggingFace, Mistral, DeepMind, Datadog, Sentry, and others

  • We process over one hundred million API calls every month

  • We fine-tune and train our own LLMs so they run faster and cheaper than any open or proprietary model

We’re a small, highly focused team. If you want to work deeply on hard problems, see your work ship to production quickly, and influence how AI safety is actually built – you’re the one we need.

What you’ll do
  • Design landing pages from the first idea to polished, responsive final designs

  • Develop visual languages, patterns, graphic systems, and illustrations that can be used across the website and product

  • Help evolve the White Circle brand and turn it into something people recognise across different surfaces

  • Bring brand ideas into the product, and find ways for the product itself to express the brand

  • Create concepts for motion, interactions, animations, and other dynamic experiences

  • Design visuals for launches, campaigns, social, events, and other brand moments

  • Explore new visual directions and turn rough ideas into strong creative concepts

  • Work closely with product, engineering, and research teams to make sure ideas actually make it into the product

  • Move comfortably between concept, art direction, and pixel-level execution

You'll fit in if
  • You have a strong portfolio across brand and digital design, especially web

  • You have excellent visual taste and care deeply about typography, composition, layout, and details

  • You know how to design for the web and understand responsive layouts beyond just designing desktop screens

  • You’re comfortable creating graphics and illustrations and experimenting with different visual styles

  • You understand motion and can think about how a static visual idea could move and behave

  • You can take a project from a rough concept to a polished final result without needing every step defined for you

  • You’re curious about technology, AI, and what’s happening at the intersection of design and software

  • You communicate clearly, work independently, and move quickly

A big plus

  • Motion design skills

  • Experience with 3D

  • Creative coding or generative design

  • Ability to prototype ideas in code

Why White Circle
  • Small team that moves fast

  • No corporate, no politics

  • Meaningful equity package

  • Paid time off in line with your local regulations, no matter where you work from

  • All the hardware, subscriptions, tools, and services you need

  • Team off-sites twice a year: we’ve recently been to the Alps and to Saint-Tropez

Process
  1. Intro call with Talent (25 mins)

  2. Design take-home task

  3. Interview with Head of Design & Creative, Elena (45 mins)
    * an additional interview with one or more team members may be added depending on the interview process
