The Product team at Airwallex shapes the company's offerings by working at the intersection of commercial strategy, engineering, design, and financial compliance. You’ll join a dynamic, innovative group that defines, builds, and enhances global financial products for some of the fastest-growing businesses worldwide. What you'll do
Embedded Finance represents one of the most important growth opportunities for Airwallex and for the broader financial industry.

You will lead a team of Product Managers responsible for building the capabilities that power embedded payments, financial accounts, cards, treasury services, and global money movement through Airwallex's platform. Working closely with Engineering, Design, Commercial, Partnerships, Compliance, and Executive Leadership, you will help shape the future of Airwallex's platform strategy and drive meaningful business impact across the company.

This role is ideal for a product leader who combines strategic thinking, strong execution, deep customer empathy, and exceptional product judgment. You are energized by complex platform challenges and passionate about creating elegant experiences that make sophisticated financial infrastructure feel intuitive and accessible for customers and partners.

Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Airwallex's Embedded Finance portfolio.

• Identify new opportunities to expand how customers and partners leverage Airwallex infrastructure, balancing long-term platform investments with immediate customer and business needs.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of ownership, excellence, customer obsession, and continuous learning.

• Partner closely with Engineering and Design leaders to deliver scalable, reliable, and thoughtfully crafted products that delight customers while meeting the needs of a rapidly growing global business.

• Champion a high bar for product quality, user experience, and execution excellence across the organization.

• Drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders, including Commercial, Partnerships, Operations, Compliance, Risk, Legal, and Executive Leadership teams.

• Leverage customer insights, market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and data to inform strategic decisions and investment priorities.

• Establish clear success metrics and accountability frameworks to measure customer impact, business outcomes, and product performance.

• Influence company strategy through a deep understanding of customer needs, market opportunities, and the evolving embedded finance ecosystem.

• Serve as a thought partner to senior leadership on platform strategy, ecosystem growth, and the future direction of Airwallex's financial infrastructure products.

• 10+ years’ experience of product management experience, including significant experience leading product teams in high-growth technology or fintech environments.

• Proven track record of defining and scaling successful platform, infrastructure, payments, fintech, or ecosystem products.

• Strong strategic thinker with the ability to connect customer needs, technical capabilities, and business objectives into a clear product vision.

• Deep customer empathy and strong product intuition, with a passion for creating simple, elegant experiences that solve meaningful customer problems.

• Proven success in API/platform integration and technical go-to-market launches.

• Strong analytical and commercial mindset with experience making data-informed decisions and prioritizing high-impact opportunities.

• Comfortable working across multiple time zones and with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong record of academic achievement from a highly respected university.

• Experience in Embedded Finance, Banking-as-a-Service, Payments, Treasury, Cards, Financial Infrastructure, Platform Products, APIs, or Developer Platforms.

• Experience building products for businesses, software platforms, marketplaces, or ecosystem partners.

• Experience operating in global markets and navigating regulatory, operational, and technical complexity at scale.
