C3 AI (NYSE: AI), is the Enterprise AI application software company. C3 AI delivers a family of fully integrated products including the C3 Agentic AI Platform, an end-to-end platform for developing, deploying, and operating enterprise AI applications, C3 AI applications, a portfolio of industry-specific SaaS enterprise AI applications that enable the digital transformation of organizations globally, and C3 Generative AI, a suite of domain-specific generative AI offerings for the enterprise. Learn more at: C3 AI

C3 Code is our agentic platform for building full-stack applications: describe what you want in natural language and get production software and domain-specific AI applications, with the security, governance, and scale enterprises require. Organizations use C3 Code to build the mission-critical apps that run their most complex operations, across industries such as manufacturing, energy, defense, and financial services. It's one of the fastest-growing products at C3, and we're just getting started.

This is a builder's role for someone who wants to drive one of C3's fastest-growing motions, not just plan it. You'll own how users go from idea to a working, deployed application, and you'll move fast: shipping, measuring, and iterating on the loops that turn first-time builders into daily, expanding usage. You'll shape how our agents reason and build, work shoulder to shoulder with customers and forward deployed engineering, and partner across engineering, data science, design, and go-to-market. This is the frontier of applied AI, where the best practices are still being written.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a fast-growing product motion end to end, own the roadmap for your area, ship quickly, and iterate on what the data tells you.
  • Shape how C3 Code's coding agents reason and build: the harness that orchestrates them, the skills that extend what they can do, and the MCP connections that let them reach the tools, data, and systems enterprises run on.
  • Define evals and success metrics for agent accuracy, reliability, and task completion, and use traces and model outputs to decide what to improve next
  • Define the user journey for our ideal customer profile and target industries, through to the mission-critical apps they build on C3 Code that run on strong optimization engines and ML models.
  • Own the product-led growth loop, from activation and onboarding to conversion and retention, turning first-time builders into teams that use C3 Code every day.
  • Triage and synthesize customer feedback and feature requests, turning an influx of input into the few changes that move the product most.
  • Work directly with enterprise customers and forward deployed engineering to understand real workflows and translate them into product requirements.
  • Support day-to-day go-to-market motions, including customer demos, workshops, and marketing events, so the capabilities you ship get adopted and spread.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years in product management, with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams through influence, not authority.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise software and what large organizations require to trust it: security, authentication and access control (SSO, RBAC), governance and admin controls, compliance, data privacy, integrations, and flexible deployment, so the AI apps your users build on C3 Code meet that bar by default.
  • A bias for execution: you ship fast, make calls at the pace of a fast-growing product, and don't wait for perfect information.
  • Technical fluency: you reason about application architecture and APIs, understand how LLMs, agents, tool use, and evals fit together, and read model outputs and traces with confidence.
  • Hands-on understanding of agentic systems: planning loops, multi-step reasoning, tool use, and how agents fail and recover.
  • Customer-obsessed: you talk to users constantly and can synthesize a flood of feedback into the few things that matter.
  • Clear, concise communicator who aligns engineering, design, and go-to-market without formal authority.
  • Experience with developer tools, product-led SaaS, or self-serve products at scale is preferred.
  • Domain exposure in areas C3 serves (supply chain, sustainability, defense, financial services, and similar) is preferred.
  • Hands-on product-led growth experience: you've owned activation, onboarding, conversion, or retention and moved the metrics is preferred.

Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future company sponsorship.

C3 AI provides excellent benefits, a competitive compensation package and generous equity plan.

What you need to know about the San Francisco Tech Scene

San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area attracts more startup funding than any other region in the world. Home to Stanford University and UC Berkeley, leading VC firms and several of the world’s most valuable companies, the Bay Area is the place to go for anyone looking to make it big in the tech industry. That said, San Francisco has a lot to offer beyond technology thanks to a thriving art and music scene, excellent food and a short drive to several of the country’s most beautiful recreational areas.

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Sequoia Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, Greylock Partners, Khosla Ventures, Kleiner Perkins
  • Research Centers and Universities: Stanford University; University of California, Berkeley; University of San Francisco; Santa Clara University; Ames Research Center; Center for AI Safety; California Institute for Regenerative Medicine
