We are seeking a highly curious, empathetic, and strategic Product Manager to lead our product discovery efforts. This is a pivotal role where you will be at the forefront of identifying new market opportunities, deeply understanding customer problems, and defining innovative solutions that will drive the future of our product roadmap. If you thrive in ambiguity, love asking "why," and are passionate about uncovering unmet needs, this is the role for you.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead Customer & Market Discovery: Conduct extensive user research (interviews, surveys, usability tests), market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and data analysis to uncover customer pain points, unmet needs, and emerging trends.
  • Problem Definition & Validation: Clearly articulate and validate key problems to be solved, ensuring a deep understanding of the "why" before moving to "what."
  • Opportunity Sizing & Prioritization: Assess the market potential, business impact, and strategic alignment of identified opportunities, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritize based on ROI and company objectives.
  • Hypothesis Generation & Testing: Formulate clear hypotheses about customer problems and potential solutions, and design experiments (e.g., prototypes, MVPs, A/B tests) to validate or invalidate them quickly and efficiently.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with UX Researchers, Designers, Engineers, Data Scientists, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to gather insights, share findings, and ensure a shared understanding of the problem space.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate discovery insights, validated problems, and potential solution directions to senior leadership and cross-functional teams, fostering alignment and buy-in.
  • Roadmap Influence: Translate discovery insights into a well-articulated problem backlog and influence the product roadmap by advocating for high-impact opportunities.
  • Knowledge Management: Document and synthesize research findings, insights, and validated learnings to build a comprehensive knowledge base that informs future product decisions.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Continuously monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and evolving customer behaviors to proactively identify new opportunities.

Who You Are:

  • 9+ years of experience in product management, with a strong emphasis on the discovery and definition phases.
  • Demonstrated experience with various discovery methodologies (e.g., Jobs-to-be-Done, Lean Startup, Design Thinking, user interviews, surveys, competitive analysis).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly empathetic with a genuine curiosity about user behavior and needs.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of navigating uncharted territory to define clear problems.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus.

Compensation, Benefits and Duration

Minimum Compensation: USD 52,000
Maximum Compensation: USD 182,000
Compensation is based on actual experience and qualifications of the candidate. The above is a reasonable and a good faith estimate for the role.
