Job Description:

This role owns data products that leverage rich financial transaction data to generate meaningful consumer and business insights. These products are the foundational intelligence that powers our broader digital banking and engagement solutions, which means your work has outsized impact on what the entire organization can build on top of it. You will partner closely with data science and engineering to take complex data and turn it into reliable, high-value capabilities and you'll be trusted to drive that work forward independently.

Product Strategy & Roadmap

  • Own and evolve a cohesive strategy and roadmap for data products that turn large-scale financial transaction data into high-value consumer and business insights.

  • Conduct market and client research to understand the financial goals and pain points behind the data, and translate them into a prioritized roadmap of high-impact capabilities.

  • Make clear prioritization and trade-off decisions across competing opportunities, operating independently once direction is set.

Data Solutions & Platform Delivery

  • Drive the development of data products that surface meaningful, decision-ready insights for consumers and businesses.

  • Develop forward-looking, predictive data products that anticipate the financial needs of consumers and businesses.

  • Productize data and APIs so other product teams can build engaging, data-driven experiences on top of them.

Advanced Analytics & Model Integration

  • Lead the integration of predictive and machine-learning models into the data product suite, partnering with Data Science and Engineering to move capabilities from proof of concept to scalable production features.

  • Define the quality metrics that matter most, and hold the bar for deterministic, trustworthy outputs.

  • Translate complex, ambiguous data problems into clear requirements for technical teams.

Cross-Team Enablement & Adoption

  • Partner with product and engineering teams across the organization to ensure new data capabilities are understood, trusted, and adopted downstream.

  • Define clear contracts, documentation, and support models so other teams can build on your data products with confidence.

  • Monitor usage and adoption of your products; proactively identify and remove barriers to adoption.

Governance & Compliance

  • Champion data quality, accuracy, and trust as first-class product attributes.

  • Ensure data products meet the privacy, security, and regulatory expectations of a financial-services environment, partnering with risk and compliance stakeholders.

  • Drive the evolution from descriptive data outputs to prescriptive, decision-ready capabilities grounded in a deep understanding of customer needs.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with a strong emphasis on data-centric or ML-powered products.

  • Financial services, banking, or payments industry experience is required.

  • Comfort treating data and APIs as products, with strong SQL and data fluency.

  • A track record partnering with data science and engineering teams to ship data-driven capabilities from concept to production.

  • A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, technical, or business discipline, with a Master's degree a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with predictive or forecasting data products.

  • Background spanning both consumer and small-business financial products.

  • Familiarity with modern cloud data architectures and the modern data stack (e.g., Snowflake, dbt).
