As a Product Manager at Reflection, you will lead end-to-end product ownership, including model releases, community engagement, partner relations, and go-to-market strategies in open-source AI.

Our Mission

Reflection is a research lab making intelligence open and accessible for everyone to use, customize, and build on. We build open models that let anyone control their intelligence and help shape the future of AI. Our mission: make intelligence open and accessible to all.

The role

PMs at Reflection own a product end-to-end. One person is accountable for: working directly with research to shape what gets built, driving the product surface, owning the open-source release and community, building ecosystem and partner relationships, and leading the go-to-market motion. There is no separate OSS lead, ecosystem PM, or product marketing layer to hand work off to. You are all of those things.

This is a deliberately wide charter. We hire PMs who are energized by that, not ones who would prefer narrower scope and more specialised counterparts.

What you'll own
  • Work directly with research leads to shape model releases and product direction — including what gets cut and when

  • Own the open-source release end-to-end: licensing, documentation, community, contribution health

  • Build and maintain partner and ecosystem relationships (inference providers, cloud partners, developer platforms)

  • Lead the GTM motion for your product area — positioning, launch, developer adoption

  • Define and instrument success metrics that tell you whether the bet is working, not just whether you shipped

What we're looking for

You have shipped model releases or developer-facing products in OSS or AI and can talk specifically about what went wrong, what you cut, and what the metrics actually did. You understand how OSS success works beyond stars and downloads — contribution health, downstream adoption, ecosystem dynamics, commercial reciprocity. You can hold your own externally with senior partners and in public forums, not just inside the building. You have changed your mind because of feedback from a researcher or engineer and can describe the specifics.

We are not looking for PMs who coordinate well or who can produce credible-sounding answers from adjacent experience. This loop is designed to tell the difference.

What We Offer:

We believe that to make intelligence open and accessible to all, you need to start at the foundation. Joining Reflection means building from the ground up as part of a talent-dense team. You will help define our future as a company, and help define the future of open foundational models.

We want you to do the most impactful work of your career with the confidence that you and the people you care about most are supported.

  • Top-tier compensation: Salary and equity structured to recognize and retain our talent globally.

  • Stock options: Everyone who joins and contributes to Reflection's success gets to share in the upside through stock options.

  • Health & wellness: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life, with an annual wellness allowance.

  • Meals: Lunch and dinner are provided in the office daily.

  • Life & family: 22 weeks paid parental leave for all new birthing and non-birthing parents, including adoptive and surrogate journeys.

  • Vacation days: Unlimited paid time off in the U.S. and 30 days in the U.K.

  • Sponsorship support: We sponsor visas to help exceptional talent join our team and support long-term immigration pathways where applicable.

  • Team building: We have regular off-sites, happy hours, and team celebrations.

Export Control Notice: This position may require access to technology or source code subject to the U.S. Export Administration Regulations. Any offer of employment for this role may be conditioned on the Company's ability to provide the candidate with access to such technology or source code in compliance with applicable U.S. export control laws, which may require the Company to seek government authorization.
