Since 2014, the mission-driven team at the Stellar Development Foundation (SDF) has helped fuel the tremendous growth of the Stellar blockchain network, an open-source platform that operates at high-scale today. Developers and companies around the world build on it, and the SDF team is expanding to support the rapidly growing and changing Stellar ecosystem.

SDF is looking for a Product Manager to support the development of Stellar’s privacy capabilities. Privacy is an important opportunity for blockchain adoption, and Stellar, with its strong base of institutional partners, is investing in foundational tools and prototypes to help bring secure, compliant use cases on-chain.


We’re looking for a hands-on Product Manager to work closely with engineering, design, and ecosystem teams to build and iterate on privacy-focused features and building blocks. You’ll contribute to product discovery, define requirements, and help drive execution as we develop practical privacy solutions for the Stellar ecosystem.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and own Stellar’s privacy strategy, roadmap and prioritization

  • Partner with Engineering to drive development of SDF’s own privacy prototypes and building blocks

  • Collaborate with SDF’s business development department on identifying and executing on key partnerships in the privacy space

You have:

  • 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager

  • Prior experience working on or with blockchain technologies.

  • Passion for building cutting edge privacy technology

Bonus Points if:

  • Background in financial technologies (fintech)

  • Experience with relevant cryptography tech such as Zero Knowledge (ZK) and Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE)

  • Experience in writing and deploying smart contracts

  • Experience in Rust and/or Solidity

We offer competitive pay with a base salary range for this position of $125,000 - $215,000 depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, we offer lumen-denominated grants along with the following perks and benefits:
