Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Product Marketing Business Analyst to support forecasting, reporting, and business insights for product and marketing operations. This role is ideal for candidates who possess strong technical skills in data analysis, forecasting, and business systems.

You will play a critical role in analyzing demand trends, building data-driven forecasts, and supporting product marketing strategy through reporting and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize complex Excel models, including macros, formulas, pivot tables, and advanced functions.

  • Analyze business data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks impacting product demand and marketing performance.

  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports to support decision-making across product marketing and out-bound marketing teams.

Market Analysis & Insights

  • Conduct market analysis to evaluate industry trends, customer demand patterns, and competitive dynamics.

  • Identify, interpret, and communicate key trends, drivers, and insights impacting product performance and market opportunities.

  • Translate data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for product marketing and business stakeholders.

Forecasting & Demand Planning

  • Working with the inbound and outboard marketing team, manage and provide regular updates for demand forecasts for both existing products and new product designs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, supply chain, marketing) to ensure forecast correctness and alignment.

  • Monitor actual performance against forecasts and recommend adjustments.

Goals & Performance Tracking

  • Maintain, and report Goals and Key Results (GKR) tracking spreadsheets.

  • Ensure timely updates and provide insights into progress against key business objectives.

  • Support leadership with performance reporting and KPI tracking.

CRM & Systems Management

  • Utilize Salesforce to:

    • Update and manage demand data

    • Generate reports and dashboards

    • Support pipeline visibility and sales alignment

  • Leverage Oracle systems to:

    • Create reports and dashboards

    • Extract and analyze operational and financial data

    • Support business intelligence initiatives

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business, Marketing or a related field, Master degree a major plus.

  • 0–2 years of experience in business analysis, product marketing, market analysis, or related roles.

  • Advanced-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including:

    Macros (VBA)Advanced formulas (INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, etc.) Pivot tables and data visualization.

  • Working knowledge of Salesforce (reporting, data updates, dashboards).

  • Working knowledge of Oracle systems (reporting and data analysis).

  • Experience with market research, competitive analysis, or trend forecasting.

  • Experience with forecasting models or demand planning tools.

  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

  • Basic SQL knowledge is a plus.

Pay Range:

$84,800.00 - $111,300.00

Pay Range Explained:

This role in Livermore, California pays between $84,800.00 and $111,300.00 per year, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations. We offer a full benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability coverage, a 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase plan (ESPP), and paid time off. You’ll also be eligible for quarterly profit-sharing bonuses and flexible spending or savings accounts.
