About the company

Our client is a software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Own the messaging, positioning and launch communications that explain a software product to buyers and sales teams. Work across analyst relations, sales enablement, content and product to keep the story consistent and widely heard. Build the sales materials and competitive insight that help deals close. Suited to a builder who can set up a marketing function from the ground up at an early-stage B2B AI or SaaS company.

What you'll do

- Shape core messaging and positioning, and keep it consistent across the website, presentations, documentation, outbound outreach and partner materials.

- Manage relationships with industry analysts, including briefings, research inquiries and submissions.

- Create sales materials such as competitive comparison sheets, presentations, one-pagers and objection-handling guidance.

- Write website copy, articles, customer stories and proof-point content that communicates results.

- Plan go-to-market for new product releases, covering messaging, enablement and measurement of results.

- Track competitors and win and loss patterns, and share those insights with teams working on active deals.

- Tailor the story for two buyer groups: product and platform leaders, and professional services or delivery leaders.

- Maintain a central reference of accurate company facts that other teams rely on.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- Creative thinking on narrative and market positioning, not just execution.

- Experience as a founding or first product marketer at a B2B AI or SaaS startup, where you built the function rather than maintained it.

- A track record of running fast, back-to-back product launches at a startup.

- Hands-on experience writing positioning documents, competitive battle cards and launch posts.

Bonus points

- Experience marketing to software developers, platform teams or professional services organizations.

- Background in enterprise software ecosystems such as ERP or business applications.

- Prior experience selling complex, engineer-focused software to technical buyers.
