As a Product Marketing Manager at Windfall, you’ll help define how we position our people intelligence and AI capabilities in the market and how our revenue teams tell the Windfall story. You will report to the VP of Marketing and collaborate closely with Sales, CS, and Product to translate product capabilities into compelling narratives and practical go‑to‑market assets.

This role is ideal for a PMM who has already owned launches, messaging, and enablement for a product or segment and wants to extend that scope across multiple verticals and use cases.

We hold true to our core values of: (1) Be an excellent communicator; (2) Operate with transparency; (3) Provide leverage, not optimization; (4) Win When Our Customers Win; (5) Act with integrity and trust.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to and maintain core messaging and positioning, ensuring it stays aligned with customer needs and the competitive landscape
  • Build and update sales collateral: pitch decks, one‑pagers, battlecards, vertical sheets, and objection‑handling guides
  • Partner with Sales and CS to understand where deals stall and create assets/messaging to unblock them
  • Support product and feature launches with messaging development, launch briefs, internal comms, and basic measurement
  • Collaborate on content and campaigns (e.g., webinars, whitepapers, event narratives) by providing POV, messaging, and story arcs
  • Conduct light competitive research and market scanning, turning insights into actionable guidance for revenue teams
  • Use AI tools to accelerate drafting, research, and asset iteration while maintaining quality and narrative control

Requirements:

  • 3+ years minimum of Product Marketing experience at a B2B SaaS company
  • Demonstrated ability to write clear positioning, value propositions, and sales narratives
  • Experience creating and iterating on sales collateral with direct feedback from Sales and customers
  • Comfort working cross‑functionally with Product, Sales, and CS
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; confident presenting to internal teams

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in GTM data, sales intelligence, or BI tools
  • Exposure to one or more of Windfall’s key verticals: nonprofit, financial services, retail, travel & hospitality
  • Experience with AI tools in your workflow

Key Facts About San Francisco Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 365,500; 13.9% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Google, Apple, Salesforce, Meta
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, cloud computing, fintech, consumer technology, software
  • Funding Landscape: $50.5 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
