Your role at Clorox:

The Product Operations Manager (Consumer Data / Marketing Technology) turns defined product direction and requirements into coordinated, delivery-ready work and drives execution across product, technology, and business teams. You’ll refine requirements, align teams on delivery needs, and guide initiatives through validation, launch, and transition to ongoing operations. Drawing on working knowledge of platform capabilities, implementation practices, and governance, you’ll anticipate dependencies, maintain clear documentation and traceability, and resolve delivery challenges while escalating decisions that require broader business or specialized technical judgment. This role is ideal for a collaborative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and combines operational discipline with practical coordination to deliver meaningful results.

In this role, you will:

  • Organize Product Owner-defined direction, prioritized scope, and high-level requirements into executable delivery plans and actionable workstreams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Marketing, Technology, Data, Privacy, Security, Procurement, agencies, and external partners to drive successful project execution.
  • Manage intake processes, backlog quality, Jira workflows, Confluence documentation, and end-to-end requirement traceability.
  • Elaborate defined requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, documented business rules, process documentation, and validation scenarios, clarifying gaps with the Product Owner and technical partners as needed.
  • Identify delivery needs, dependencies, risks, and approvals by developing and applying working knowledge of platform capabilities, implementation patterns, and governance requirements
  • Lead project planning and working sessions to align stakeholders, remove blockers, communicate progress, and drive accountability.
  • Resolve delivery-level ambiguity and execution challenges within established direction through informed coordination, practical problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Coordinate platform administration and integration lifecycle activities, from access, taxonomy implementation, data mapping, and environment readiness through testing, launch, monitoring, support, migration, and offboarding, within established governance and vendor onboarding processes.
  • Maintain documentation for integrations, data flows, business rules, support processes, and reusable implementation practices.
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, governance, and vendor teams to investigate issues, evaluate solutions, and validate end-to-end delivery.
  • Monitor project health, track milestones and delivery outcomes, and escalate decisions affecting scope, priorities, business rules, governance, architecture, or specialized technical matters to the appropriate owners.
  • Improve operational processes, templates, workflows, and delivery standards to enhance efficiency and consistency.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical program management, product operations, program delivery, business systems analysis, marketing technology, data platforms, or a related field.
  • Experience converting defined business or product direction into delivery plans, detailed requirements and work items, acceptance criteria, process documentation, validation scenarios, or implementation activities.
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, matrixed teams, and external vendors or partners.
  • Experience managing complex programs, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and implementation readiness activities.
  • Experience learning and applying repeatable implementation patterns, operating procedures, and governance requirements to new and related delivery scenarios.
  • Hands-on experience supporting digital, MarTech, consumer data, or technology platform implementations, including integrations and operational readiness activities.
  • Strong problem-solving and execution skills, with the ability to resolve delivery-level ambiguity within established direction, identify practical solutions, and drive work forward with limited oversight while recognizing decisions that require escalation.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management abilities, including experience translating technical, business, and data concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and understand platform capabilities, data integrations, and governance requirements without serving as the primary engineer or architect.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with first-party consumer data, consumer packaged goods (CPG), consumer marketing, or enterprise MarTech environments is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting consumer engagement, customer data, CRM, or marketing technology ecosystems.
  • Experience with Agile planning, PI planning, Jira, or comparable work-management platforms is preferred.
