Own and scale new product verticals across Payments, Accounting, and Insurance. Responsibilities include customer acquisition, sales demos, onboarding, support, go-to-market strategy, market research, pricing, launch execution, process development, and cross-functional alignment. The role requires taking products from zero to one, engaging enterprise customers, demonstrating technical products, and transitioning mature operations to Product, Engineering, GTM, and Customer Success teams.

About the company

Our client is a unicorn vertical AI company whose agents automate the operational backbone of two industries almost everyone depends on: housing and healthcare. They have raised $392M to date, crossed $100M in annual recurring revenue, and now serve enterprise customers at national scale. The team has grown past 500 people and is headquartered in New York City.

The role

This is a genuine zero to one seat. You will identify, launch, and scale entirely new product lines (Payments, Accounting, Insurance) and run each one like a mini GM: equal parts strategist, operator, and customer champion.

What you will do

• Own a new product vertical end to end, from customer acquisition and sales demos through implementation and process building

• Get in front of customers directly, selling, onboarding, and supporting them to drive early traction

• Lead go to market strategy including market research, segmentation, positioning, pricing, and launch execution

• Build and scale the internal processes that let Product, Engineering, GTM, and Customer Success take the vertical over as it matures

• Demo a technical product credibly and engage engineering and product teams on specs without being the one building it

• Drive cross functional alignment without formal authority, staying hands on rather than delegating

Requirements

What we are looking for

• Experience in product strategy, management consulting, or startup operations, with direct exposure to Payments, Accounting, or Insurance

• A top tier management consulting background, or startup and founder experience at Seed to Series C where you wore many hats across sales, implementation, and strategy

• A track record taking a new product or a new market from zero to one, and owning the outcome

• P&L ownership, or M&A and diligence experience running several workstreams at once (banking, private equity, venture, or corporate development also work)

• Built and executed go to market strategies for B2B SaaS products yourself, not just contributed to them

• Bachelor's degree from a top tier university

Bonus points

• MBA, or a top tier management consulting pedigree

• CPA, or hands on experience with payment processing, AP and AR

• Comfort demoing a technical product to enterprise buyers

Location and work model

• New York City, hybrid, 4 to 5 days per week in office

• Some travel as needed

• Open to visa transfers (OPT and H1B transfers)

Benefits

• $100,000 to $210,000, plus competitive equity in a company valued above $2B

• 100% covered medical, dental, and vision

• Unlimited PTO

• All meals provided in the office

• Relocation package

• Commuter benefits
