About Zipline

Zipline is the world’s largest and most experienced drone delivery service. We are on a mission to serve all humans equally by ensuring access to food, medicine and essential goods anytime, anywhere. We design, build, and operate the world’s largest autonomous logistics system, delivering critical supplies quickly and reliably. Today, Zipline operates on four continents, makes a delivery somewhere in the world every 30 seconds, and has completed millions of deliveries to date, including blood, vaccines, medical supplies, food, and retail products.

Our customers include the world’s largest and most prominent healthcare systems, governments, retailers, restaurants and global businesses who rely on us to save lives, reduce emissions, increase economic opportunity, and provide delivery from point A to point B as fast as possible. The drone is only 15% of what we’ve built to enable seamless, reliable, global operations.

Our system strengthens supply chains, reduces congestion, and gives people time back. With more than 140 million commercial autonomous miles safely flown, Zipline is redefining access to healthcare, consumer products, and food across the globe.

We operate at a global scale and are looking for practical problem solvers who thrive on real-world challenges and rapid growth. Our team is motivated by building systems that have a direct, meaningful impact on people’s lives and by scaling the future of logistics. We are seeking people who sculpt from first principles, enjoy facing adversity, and can do the impossible at record breaking speeds.

About You and The Role

We are looking for a Recruiting Coordination Lead that is the conductor of the candidate experience. You believe that coordination is a performance art—part logistics, part hospitality, and part strategy. You will lead, mentor, and inspire a growing team of Recruiting Coordinators, ensuring that as Zipline scales, our candidate touchpoints remain seamless, personal, and high-touch. You have a "hands-on" leadership style, operating with high energy, extreme ownership, and a relentless commitment to helping our candidates and hiring managers feel supported from first screen to final offer.

What You’ll Do
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, coach, and develop our Recruiting Coordination team. Set clear performance standards, manage capacity planning, and provide daily support to ensure the team is balanced, engaged, and performing at their best.
  • Candidate Experience Ownership: Serve as the final escalation point and "experience champion." Ensure every candidate—from initial screen to final onsite—receives a premium, high-touch experience that reflects Zipline’s values.
  • Operational Execution: Oversee the day-to-day logistics for our high-volume hiring pipelines. Ensure the team is moving with precision, speed, and accuracy in high-pressure environments.
  • Recruiter & Stakeholder Partnership: Act as the primary bridge between the Coordination team and Recruiting Partners. Ensure RCs are effectively embedded in their respective hiring squads and are proactive partners to our Hiring Managers.
  • Performance & Quality Assurance: Track team metrics (e.g., scheduling speed, interview panel health, NPS) to ensure we are meeting our internal SLAs. Foster a culture of high accountability where feedback is sought, used, and acted upon.
  • Onboarding & Training: Own the onboarding experience for new RCs — building ramp plans and training materials to get new hires up to speed quickly.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with People Ops, IT, Facilities, Executive Assistants, etc.
  • Process Adoption: Own the execution of recruiting workflows to maintain data integrity and consistency.

What You’ll Bring

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in Recruiting Coordination or high-volume scheduling, with a proven track record of mentoring or leading a team of coordinators.
  • Strong understanding of applicant tracking systems and scheduling tools relevant to recruiting coordination.
  • Experience in fast-paced environments where priorities shift daily. You remain composed under pressure and know how to mobilize a team during hiring surges.
  • You are a strong communicator who builds credibility quickly with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, and executive candidates alike.
  • You possess an incredible eye for detail and identify when a process is failing and coach your team on how to bridge the gap.
  • You thrive in an environment that prizes extreme ownership, low ego and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Mastery of Greenhouse and GoodTime (or similar scheduling automation tools). You know these systems inside and out and can troubleshoot issues for your team on the fly.
  • Previous experience directly managing a group of recruiting coordinators in a fast paced environment during hyper growth.
  • Familiarity with global or multi-timezone coordination
