The summary above was generated by AI

Ellipsis Health was founded with a clear mission: to give every patient access to empathetic, high-quality care management. We are creating cutting-edge AI/ML products that solve healthcare staffing challenges and administrative burdens using conversational AI and our patented voice biomarker technology, helping deliver better healthcare for everyone. We are headquartered in Silicon Valley and are funded and supported by some of the most preeminent venture capital teams.

We are hiring our first Recruiting Coordinator, and this is not a traditional scheduling role. Talent is one of the biggest levers we have as we scale the team behind Sage, and you will be a founding member of our Talent function, building recruiting operations from the ground up alongside our Head of Talent.

You will be the operational engine of our hiring process and the architect of our candidate experience: how a candidate first hears from us, how they move through our process, and how they feel when they walk out the door, whether or not they join. You will report directly to our Head of Talent and help shape the strategy behind how we hire, while partnering with founders, hiring managers, and interviewers to run a hiring engine that is fast, organized, and thoughtful.

If you want real ownership, an early seat at the table, and the chance to build something that lasts, this role is for you.

This role is based in our San Francisco office on a hybrid schedule.

What you’ll do:

Build the Recruiting Engine from Day One

  • Partner with the Head of Talent to design and set the strategy for recruiting operations, including processes, tools, and how we scale hiring.

  • Build out our talent tech stack in Ashby, including workflows, scheduling automation, candidate communications, and pipeline reporting.

  • Evaluate, set up, and manage sourcing platforms and their integrations with Ashby.

  • Create the playbooks, templates, and documentation that will carry the team through our next stage of growth.

Run the Interview Engine

  • Own interview coordination end to end across multi-stage loops, time zones, and formats, both virtual and in-person, including founder and executive interviews.

  • Partner with hiring managers to design interview plans, loops, and scorecards, and hold teams accountable to fast feedback and decisions.

  • Host candidates onsite, making every visit feel organized and welcoming.

  • Jump in when schedules break or priorities shift, and find a way to keep the process moving.

Own the Candidate Experience

  • Be the primary point of contact for candidates, keeping them informed and prepared at every stage.

  • Make Ellipsis the process candidates remember for the right reasons: clear, responsive, and human.

  • Own how we show up externally by auditing and updating job postings on LinkedIn, our careers page, and other channels so every listing is accurate, consistent, and on brand.

Launch Recruiting Programs

  • Help launch and run programs such as interview training, referral drives, sourcing events, and onboarding prep.

  • Track pipeline data and surface insights that help us hire better and faster.

What we’re looking for:
  • 2+ years of recruiting coordination, talent operations, or related experience at a technology company

  • Startup DNA: you have worked at an early-stage startup or thrive in ambiguity, and you would rather build the process than follow one

  • Builder mindset: you see scheduling as a workflow problem and look for ways to remove friction and automate manual steps

  • Exceptional organization and the ability to prioritize and execute many high-priority tasks at once

  • Keen attention to detail. Mismatched time zones, broken links, and dropped handoffs bother you.

  • Passion for creating exceptional candidate experiences

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and confidence partnering with founders and senior leaders

  • Understanding of how to use LinkedIn and other job boards to audit, optimize, and update job postings

  • Knowledge of sourcing platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, SeekOut, Juicebox) and how they integrate with an ATS

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience as an early member of a recruiting team at a venture-backed startup

  • Experience with modern ATS systems (e.g., Ashby, Greenhouse, Lever)

  • Experience building recruiting and coordination processes from scratch (interview training programs, scheduling best practices, candidate experience design)

  • Experience building dashboards, workflow automations, and agentic solutions for recruiting teams

  • Interest in AI and healthcare
