Who You Are

Sila is looking for an energetic and organized Entry-Level Recruiting Coordinator to join our team and support the recruitment process on a contract basis. As an integral part of the Talent Team, you will assist in coordinating interviews, communicating with candidates, and supporting recruiting operations to ensure an efficient and positive candidate experience. This position requires regular on-site presence, fostering a collaborative work environment and close communication with hiring managers and the HR team.

This is a temporary 6 month assignment.

Responsibilities and Duties  
  • Schedule and confirm in-person, virtual & phone interviews with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring all logistics are managed, including meeting room setup and greeting candidates upon arrival.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing in-person support when needed, and ensuring prompt responses to inquiries.
  • Assist in posting job openings on job boards and internal channels, and help advertise positions through local outlets when applicable.
  • Maintain an up-to-date record of candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), with on-site assistance to other team members as needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the Talent Team team on-site, including scheduling interviews, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Work closely with hiring managers, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of interviews and hiring events.
  • Ensure candidates have a positive experience by greeting them warmly and providing a professional, welcoming atmosphere for in-person interviews.
  • Support other HR functions as needed, such as assisting with career fairs, and recruiting events.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements 
  • 0-1 year of experience in recruiting, HR, or administrative roles. Prior office-based work experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally in person.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Sheet, Docs).
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, on-site team environment.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
  • Move long distances (such as from building to building) and be stationary for extended periods of time
  • Operate a computer and other office equipment, such as a laptop, copier/printer, etc in a fixed location
  • This role will require regular attendance at our office in Alameda, CA. Candidates must be able to commute to the office

Regular Shift: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm

The starting base pay for this role is between $25/hr and $30/hr at the time of posting. The actual base pay depends on many factors, such as education, experience, and skills. Base pay is only one part of Sila’s competitive Total Rewards package that can include benefits, perks, and equity.  The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
