Regulatory Product Specialist

Our fast-paced North America Regulatory Team is looking for a Regulatory Product Specialist to provide oversight and assistance to Adyen’s established and future product and service offerings.

As a Regulatory Product Specialist, you will be working across various functions and teams in order to assess and document any regulatory product risks, build out regulatory compliance frameworks for Adyen’s products, and be a voice for second line regulatory risks. This helps our North American commercial and product teams manage risk, identify opportunities, and deliver on Adyen’s offering of exceptional products and services. Given the dynamic nature of the global payments industry we see it as imperative to attract and develop talented people by:

  • Providing rich work experiences and opportunities for professional development.
  • Recognizing and rewarding those who drive and deliver results.
  • Respecting and valuing diversity, integrity, and personal accountability.

What You’ll Do:

  • Project manage the clear communication of regulatory requirements across teams, track progress of business implementation to ensure timely delivery, and verify successful execution.
  • Coordinate the intake and documentation of regulatory requirements, keeping internal tracking systems up-to-date so everyone has a clear, reliable framework in which requirements are incorporated, which form the basis of the implementation into the technology stack.
  • Work side-by-side with product teams to turn regulatory needs into smart product features, ensuring we stay compliant while keeping things moving fast.
  • Keep our team connected and on-track, ensuring everyone has the clarity they need to meet our shared goals.

Who you are:

  • You have 2+ years of risk or compliance experience, preferably with a regulated fintech company or a US bank.
  • You thrive on bringing people together—you’re the person who keeps everyone aligned on deadlines, projects, and regulatory requirements.
  • You are a fast learner who is willing to dive deep into regulations, laws and rules that govern the landscape of payment processing and financial products.
  • You love untangling complex problems and turning them into clear, simple paths forward that everyone can follow.
  • You’re a natural communicator, skilled at keeping leadership and your team in the loop with clarity and ease.
  • Above all, you’re a true team player who values connecting with people from all backgrounds, building strong relationships that help us get great work done together.
