About the Role

Nooks is looking for a Revenue Operations & Strategy Associate to help scale our best-in-class RevOps function. Reporting directly to the Sr. Manager of RevOps, you will own critical systems and processes end-to-end, lead strategic initiatives with minimal guidance, and partner closely with GTM leaders to translate ambiguous business problems into scalable, data-driven solutions.

This is not an execution-only role. You will be the directly responsible individual for meaningful pieces of our revenue engine - owning them from maintenance through evolution, educating stakeholders, and setting the standard for how we operate. You’ll combine deep analytical rigor with strategic judgment, evaluating trade-offs and broader business implications rather than just surfacing data. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, brings a clear point of view, and is energized by building systems that outlast them.

This is a San Francisco based role. We have a hybrid (3x/week) schedule in office with great in-office perks and a collaborative culture.

What you’ll do

This role offers excellent exposure to all aspects of the revenue engine and provides a clear path for growth into senior revenue operations positions.

Analysis & Strategic Insight
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses into pipeline, conversion, segmentation, retention, and rep performance, identifying root causes and evaluating trade-offs across potential solutions

  • Approach ambiguous problems with structured problem-solving frameworks and recommend creative approaches when the standard playbook doesn’t apply

  • Build and maintain executive-level dashboards and forecasting models

  • Generate GTM performance review cadences for leadership with a clear point of view and actionable recommendations

Project Execution & Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Lead end-to-end projects that drive operational improvements across the revenue organization - scoping, planning, executing, and measuring impact

  • Support territory planning and account scoring initiatives

Communication & Team Leadership
  • Present findings and recommendations clearly and persuasively to GTM leadership - concise, conclusions-oriented, and tailored to the audience

  • Contribute meaningfully to team cohesion through stand-ups, planning, retros, and day-to-day collaboration

  • Seek and incorporate feedback actively, demonstrating a commitment to continuous growth

  • Act as a reliable collaborator with external partners and vendors - following up consistently and representing the team well

Systems Ownership
  • Serve as the DRI for one or more critical RevOps systems or processes (e.g., forecasting, territory & quota management, lead routing, commissions), owning them with minimal guidance

  • Quickly triage and resolve issues within owned systems, becoming the go-to expert that leadership and reps rely on

  • Proactively identify and scope opportunities to evolve owned systems with new features or capabilities, using clear prioritization criteria

  • Drive communication, change management, and training for stakeholders and leadership when systems or processes change

CRM & Tech Stack Expertise
  • Act as a subject matter expert across our GTM tech stack - HubSpot, Nooks, Gong, Clay, and forecasting tools

  • Partner with our GTM Systems Admins to maintain data hygiene, configure workflows, and optimize automation rules

  • Serve as an escalation point for GTM tech troubleshooting, rules of engagement interpretation, and daily operational issues

  • Continuously evaluate the tech stack for gaps, redundancies, and opportunities for consolidation or new investment

Who You Are

  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS RevOps, with demonstrated progression in scope and ownership; 4-6 years of total experience in investment banking, management consulting or related analytical roles

  • Subject matter expert in HubSpot and the modern GTM stack (Nooks, Gong, Clay, Claude/ChatGPT, forecasting tools) - hands-on when needed, and trusted to guide others

  • Strong analytical foundation: you’re comfortable building complex models, running your own analyses, and translating data into insight by investigating root causes rather than stopping at the trend line

  • Systems thinker and owner: you’ve independently maintained, evolved, and documented critical systems, and you’re known for triaging issues fast

  • Comfortable with ambiguity: you bring structure to undefined problems, evaluate trade-offs, and weigh broader business implications before recommending a path

  • Builder’s bias for action: you create scalable programs with measurable impact rather than one-off fixes

  • Exceptional communicator: clear and persuasive in presentations, writing, and stakeholder updates; effective at educating others on your domain

  • Empathetic toward reps: genuinely invested in their success and the quality of their day-to-day experience

  • Collaborative, humble, and coachable: contributes to team morale, seeks feedback, and treats being challenged as a gift
