About the Company

Valerie Health is the AI front office for independent provider groups. We are reimagining how independent practices operate by using AI to modernize patient/provider communication, enhance care, and drive industry-changing operational efficiencies.

Why join us now?

  • Team: We are led by Pete Shalek (2x health tech exits, including a $600M acquisition by Optum) and Nitin Joshi (scaled Uber Eats + Health, Stripe Connect, and Bridge–acquired by Stripe for $1.1B). Beyond our Founders, our team brings decades of experience from Stripe, Uber, and Meta, combining deep expertise in ML systems, large-scale infrastructure, and product design.

  • Trajectory: We partner with leading independent provider groups across the U.S., automating hundreds of thousands of tasks each month. Scaling at 7x year-over-year with 300% NRR as customers consistently expand usage.

  • Funding: We have raised $39m from world-class investors including Redpoint Ventures, General Catalyst, Primary Ventures, and BoxGroup.

About the role

This is a rare chance to build the revenue engine of a company at the forefront of AI in healthcare. As our Head of Revenue Operations, you’ll be the architect of how Valerie goes to market, from the first systems and processes through to a scalable, data-driven operation. You’ll work directly with the founders and leadership team, and your decisions will shape how we grow.

If you want your work to matter, to see your impact in the number of patients who get care and the time physicians get back, this is the role.

What you’ll do
  • Build and own the revenue engine

    • Design and run the operational foundation for Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, including processes, systems, and reporting

    • Own the end-to-end revenue funnel, from lead generation through close, onboarding, renewal, and expansion

    • Establish clear definitions, handoffs, and accountability across go-to-market teams

  • Drive forecasting and insight

    • Build reliable forecasting, pipeline management, and performance reporting for leadership and the board

    • Analyze funnel conversion, sales velocity, retention, and unit economics to find opportunities and risks early

    • Turn data into clear recommendations that inform strategy and investment

  • Own the tech stack

    • Architect, implement, and optimize our GTM systems (CRM, marketing automation, sales engagement, analytics, and more)

    • Bring AI and automation into our own revenue operations so we practice what we build

    • Keep data clean, integrated, and trustworthy across systems

  • Shape strategy and planning

    • Partner with leadership on go-to-market strategy, territory design, quota setting, compensation plans, and capacity planning

    • Support pricing, packaging, and contracting processes as we work with health systems, practices, and other partners

    • Lead planning cycles and set the operating cadence for the business

  • Build the team

    • Hire and develop RevOps talent as we scale

    • Create a culture of rigor, speed, and continuous improvement

About you
  • Experience

    • 8+ years in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, Business Operations, or a related function, including time in a leadership role at a high-growth B2B SaaS/AI company

    • Experience building RevOps from the ground up, ideally in an early-stage or scaling startup

    • Deep expertise in GTM systems (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) and the broader sales and marketing tech ecosystem

    • Strong analytical skills, with comfort in forecasting, funnel analysis, and financial modeling

    • A track record of partnering closely with executives and driving cross-functional alignment

  • Attributes

    • Excitement about AI and a practical view of how to use it to make teams more effective

    • A bias toward action: you’re comfortable with ambiguity, move quickly, and roll up your sleeves

    • Clear, confident communication and sound judgment

  • Nice to have

    • Familiarity with long sales cycles, multi-stakeholder buying processes, and compliance-sensitive industries

    • Experience supporting a company through fundraising or board reporting

    • Experience selling into or operating within healthcare, health tech, or other complex enterprise environments

What we offer
  • Competitive base salary

  • Meaningful equity in a fast-growing, venture-backed startup

  • Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO

  • SF-based candidates will work in-person Monday–Thursday

  • Remote-friendly for candidates outside SF

  • SF office: Daily catered lunch and dinner reimbursement
