About the company

Our client is a fast-growing software company.

The role

Raydar is recruiting for this role on behalf of our client. Lead a small group of outbound sales development reps while also holding your own quota-style goal. You will improve an automated, AI-supported prospecting program, set direction for outreach across different account segments, and coordinate with sales, marketing and customer teams.

What you'll do

- Hold an individual meeting-generation goal for the first several months, personally prospecting senior buyers at larger organizations.

- Take over an established AI-supported prospecting setup, locate friction points, choose where to automate versus keep human judgment, and raise the quality of the resulting pipeline.

- Design separate outreach approaches for new large accounts, mid-sized accounts and existing-customer growth, each fitted to its audience and measure of success.

- Take unconventional campaign ideas from concept through rollout, including in-person events, mailed outreach and other channels, and quickly retire anything that underperforms.

- Coach and develop a team of three sales development reps.

- Collaborate with marketing, sales, customer success and a cross-team pipeline forum to relay what you learn in the field and help set outreach priorities.

- Work with engineers to build tailored workflows that let a small team produce results well beyond its size.

Requirements

What we're looking for

- At least 2 years of outbound experience in B2B software sales, with a record of securing meetings with senior stakeholders at major organizations.

- Experience designing AI-supported outreach workflows yourself, not just operating existing tools.

- Skill in using AI to automate prospecting and lift team productivity.

- Willingness to own an individual pipeline number while also leading others.

- Experience leading a compact team of sales development reps, ideally two or three people.

- Independence and comfort in a fast-paced startup setting.

Bonus points

- Hands-on use of AI-based sales engagement platforms.

- Background selling to consumer goods, retail or consumer-facing brands.

- Technical aptitude with CRM configuration, automation platforms or APIs.
