About The RoleThe Sales Manager, Inside Sales (Group Manager, Inside Sales) is a key inside sales management position at The RealReal. As a Group Manager, you will drive an inside sales team focused on acquiring luxury products from our existing consignor base. You're customer-obsessed, adaptable, and passionate about luxury brands, fashion, and sustainability. Above all, you embody the TRR culture through collaboration, driving results, and building for the future.

What You Get To Do Every Day
  • Provide coaching, training and performance management to ensure your team meets or exceeds monthly sales targets

  • Shadow phone interactions, review written correspondence, and examine sales pipeline to monitor and improve team performance 

  • Monitor your team’s productivity and motivate individuals to reach daily/weekly/monthly KPIs 

  • Interview, hire, train and develop employees

  • Ensure accurate information is captured in Salesforce, providing quality checks as needed

  • Work closely with other sales channels and management teams to drive partnership and alignment

  • Identify opportunities for workflow and reporting improvement and articulate execution plans to management team

  • Coach team in providing world-class consignor experience through phone, email and text interactions

  • Field general Q&A, manage elevated consignor issues directly with consignors and liaise with consignor relations to resolve

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must live in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zone ONLY. No exceptions.

  • Internal: 6 month rolling average 100%+ units

The expected salary range for this role is $85,000-$94,000. To determine starting pay we carefully consider a variety of factors, including primary work location and an evaluation of a candidate’s skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Additionally, salary is just one component of TRR’s total rewards package. Depending on role, employees may also be eligible for a bonus program, incentive pay and benefits.

The expected On-Target Earnings range for this role is $121,440-$134,285. To determine on-target earnings, the range includes both base salary and target incentive compensation. Target incentive compensation for some roles may include a ramping period. Compensation is higher for those who exceed targets.
