Working as part of a cross-functional team you lead the RDQ activities required to complete new product development and maintain portfolios and/or productivity projects keeping in mind the goal to deliver the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
The candidate will be the technical point of contact for Business Continuity Planning projects across North America Biscuit. The candidate is responsible for developing the technical strategy and resourcing both emergency and proactive BCP projects, as well as overseeing a team to execute the projects. The candidate will collaborate with the cross-functional team and key stakeholders to drive decisions that ensure business continuity while protecting the product quality and consumer.

The candidate should be able to leverage experts/partners to ensure compliance to documentation, shelf life, regulatory requirements for NA, FTO/IP, and confidentiality requirements.

Salary and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $97,300 to $133,815; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education and location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results. In addition, Mondelez International offers the following benefits: health insurance, wellness and family support programs, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plans, paid leave programs, education related programs, paid holidays and vacation time. Some of these benefits have eligibility requirements. Many of these benefits are subsidized or fully paid for by the company.

- Develop project objectives and technical approach in response to business initiatives.
- Autonomously plan and execute work plans, building upon the work request to deliver a robust approach, leveraging previous experience where appropriate.
- Analyze results of experiments and translate them into actionable recommendations.
- Have a strong knowledge of the commercialization process as well as functional characteristics of ingredients and process unit operations, including how they impact finished products to meet consumer expectations.
- Act as a lead or key member of cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise and appropriate linkages back to the internal / external technical community.
- Interact / communicate to senior members of the organization and lead cross-functional teams for project of appropriate scope.
- Act as a resource and mentor to junior members of the department.

- Minimum of 8 yrs. experience, preferably in the food industry.
- Strong technical foundation and technical curiosity. Knowledge of biscuit formulation/processes is a strong plus.
- Able to develop and drive technical projects with proper scientific rigor: conduct appropriate testing, gather and analyze data, and develop recommendations based on findings.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize and manage complexity, from bench top to full commercialization.
- Participate in cross functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to effectively communicate to all levels within the organization
