Role Overview:
Drive strategic revenue growth by helping large enterprises modernize how they engage with their customers and deliver differentiated experiences at scale. As a Senior Enterprise Account Executive at Genesys, you will own a portfolio of complex enterprise accounts and prospects, building executive relationships, uncovering high-value business priorities, and connecting those priorities to Genesys solutions. You will lead sophisticated, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and partner across technical, business, and executive teams to shape strategies that drive new business, expansion, and long-term customer value. Genesys brings together AI, cloud technology, and customer experience capabilities to help organizations orchestrate personalized experiences while improving business outcomes. This role offers significant executive visibility, ownership of strategic accounts, and the opportunity to influence enterprise customer experience transformation while expanding your leadership and strategic sales expertise.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Own the end-to-end sales strategy for a portfolio of large enterprise prospects and existing customers, driving new business and expansion revenue
  • Develop trusted relationships with C-level executives, senior stakeholders, and key decision-makers to align Genesys solutions with strategic business priorities
  • Build and grow a qualified pipeline across existing accounts and net new logos to support consistent revenue attainment and long-term territory growth
  • Lead complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles from executive discovery and solution strategy through negotiation and close
  • Partner with technical experts, solution consultants, and internal teams to develop compelling business cases and solutions aligned with customer priorities
  • Drive strategic account and territory planning, including accurate forecasting, opportunity management, and prioritization of high-value growth opportunities
  • Translate complex customer challenges into clear business and technology strategies that demonstrate the value of Genesys Cloud, AI, automation, and customer experience capabilities
  • Expand strategic relationships within enterprise organizations by identifying opportunities to increase platform adoption and deliver greater customer and business value

Required Qualifications:


  • 7+ years of enterprise software sales experience with demonstrated success managing large, complex accounts and territories
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets in complex enterprise sales environments
  • Demonstrated success developing executive relationships and communicating, negotiating, and closing with C-level stakeholders and key decision-makers
  • Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and closing seven-figure enterprise opportunities
  • Strong ability to understand strategic customer priorities and articulate relevant technology, business value, and enterprise solutions
  • Experience building and managing pipeline through both expansion within existing customers and acquisition of net new logos
  • Strong background in strategic account planning, territory management, forecasting, and cross-functional sales execution
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50 percent

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience selling enterprise software, cloud, customer experience, or contact center solutions into healthcare organizations
  • Understanding of healthcare provider environments, customer or patient experience priorities, and enterprise technology buying processes
  • Experience positioning cloud, AI, automation, or customer experience solutions within complex enterprise organizations
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across sales, technical, partner, and executive teams throughout sophisticated enterprise buying cycles

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.  

$111,700.00 - $196,300.00
