About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to support our General Ledger & Financial Close processes and help lead the revamp of our Order-to-Cash operations.

General Ledger & Financial Close
  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and other close activities.
  • Maintain well-organized and audit-ready accounting documentation and support the ongoing enhancement of internal controls.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly balance sheet and P&L account analysis to ensure completeness, accuracy, and appropriate accounting treatment.
  • Collaborate with other accounting team members to identify and resolve close-related issues and improve the efficiency of the close process.
  • Support the annual financial statement audit, including preparation of audit schedules, supporting documentation, and responses to auditor requests.
  • Assist with accounting research and other ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
Revenue Operations & Order-to-Cash
  • Support the revamp of the end-to-end order-to-cash (O2C) process, identifying process gaps, control weaknesses, and opportunities for automation and scalability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline processes from contract execution through billing, collections, cash application, and revenue recognition.
  • Evaluate and improve the use of systems such as NetSuite and other tools to automate manual processes and improve data accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain appropriate controls over the O2C process to minimize billing errors, revenue leakage, and operational risks.
  • Lead or support system enhancements, integrations, and automation initiatives related to billing and revenue operations.
  • Monitor revenue performance and develop revenue projections and forecasting models in partnership with FP&A and business stakeholders.
  • Analyze actual revenue versus forecast, identify key drivers and variances, and provide insights to support management decision-making.
  • Own or support sales commission tracking and reconciliation, including monitoring commission calculations, identifying discrepancies, and partnering with Finance to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Ability to propose and implement scalable processes and documentation to support new products, pricing models, commercial structures, and business growth.
Required
  • Bachelor's degree with major in economics or quantitative field (finance/accounting, math, science) or equivalent experience
  • CPA is a plus
  • 4 or more years of experience in a finance-related or similar business role
  • Prior experience in big4 or accounting firm is helpful
  • Advanced skills for using Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) to analyze data
  • Experience creating financial and operational models
  • Proficient in using PowerPoint to communicate recommendations to team members and partners
  • Experienced with NetSuite and AI tools
The US base salary range for this full-time position is listed below. Pay may vary based on a number of factors including job-related skills, level, experience, geographic location and relevant education or training.
