A professional services firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This role supports day-to-day accounting operations and close activities while partnering closely with finance leadership on reporting, analysis, and process improvement.

What You’ll Do

  • Support key aspects of the monthly and year-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Reconcile bank, trust, and general ledger accounts and investigate variances
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations with clear documentation and audit-ready support
  • Generate standard and ad hoc financial reports for internal stakeholders
  • Perform detailed account analysis to ensure financial data integrity
  • Support external accountants with audit, tax, and annual review requests
  • Assist with required filings and property-related reporting as needed
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance colleagues on process improvements and special projects
  • Maintain documentation related to accounting procedures and account structures

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a professional services environment
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
