About Our Company: EyeTell is a new startup brought to you by Chad Hurley, the Co-Founder and former CEO of YouTube. We are building something new at the intersection of AI and mixed media and are looking for an adaptive AI Engineer to join our small team. You will be joining at the ground floor, which is an exciting time! However, because of this, we expect teammates to be in the office most of the time, so if you seek remote-only or remote-mostly, this is not the droid you are looking for.

Job Summary: As an AI Engineer, you will be the brain behind our technology. You will design, develop, and deploy the machine learning models that power our mixed media experiences. We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just use APIs, but understands the underlying architecture of modern AI and can optimize it for real-time, consumer-facing applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement state-of-the-art machine learning models (LLMs, Computer Vision, and Generative Media).

  • Optimize AI models for on-device performance within the Apple ecosystem (leveraging Core ML and Neural Engine).

  • Collaborate with the Apple Ecosystem Engineers to integrate intelligence into seamless user interfaces.

  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines for training, fine-tuning, and evaluating models.

  • Stay at the forefront of AI research to identify and implement new techniques that give EyeTell a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, AI, or a related field.

  • Expertise in Python and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.

  • Demonstrated experience with Generative AI, Latent Diffusion models, or Transformer architectures.

  • Strong understanding of model quantization and optimization for deployment on mobile and desktop hardware.

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical teammates.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, "ground floor" startup environment.

Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits; free lunch in the office; chance to make a significant impact on a growing company.

We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
