Job DescriptionRequired Skills:
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Mathematics, or equivalent field of study with at least 5 years experience
- Large scale distributed systems
- Must have knowledge with JAVA, Spring, Hibernate, REST, MySQL
- Nice to have knowledge with Redis, Elasticsearch, Flume, Redshift, Nginx, Memcached
- · Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others
- · Displays initiative, self-motivation, and effective time-management skills
- · Multiple years of experience in a professional environment performing analysis, design and development tasks on multiple platforms
- · Knowledge of in-object oriented programming concepts and design
- · Familiar with data mining concepts and machine learning algorithms
- · Understanding of data flows, data architecture, ETL and processing of structured and unstructured data
Responsibilities:
- · Design and develop applications in Java using a variety of frameworks and tools
- Provide options for implementing features that account for scalability, long term maintainability and performance
- Coordinate with front end development team as needed to connect the UI to our API
- Think strategically and execute operationally
