    • Photovoltaic solar generation
    • Batteries, both for storage systems and in electric vehicles
    • Demand response programs
    • Energy efficiency and building electrification
  • Writing research reports, whitepapers, and other documentation to explain how our models work
  • Preparing bespoke data visualizations and visualization tools to effectively communicate complex data concepts and insights
  • Collaborating with Kevala’s subject matter experts and product/project managers to ensure that we understand the market and our clients and that the solutions we develop are appropriately innovative and fit to purpose.

What you need to succeed

  • Minimum 7 years experience in applying technical skills to large and diverse datasets
  • Experience developing research questions and designing experiments to test hypotheses
  • Creative problem-solving skills
  • Deep technical and professional-grade Python development skills, particularly the Pandas, Numpy, SciPy, scikit-learn data science stack
  • Expertise in SQL and working with data warehouses
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
