We are seeking a Senior Director of Software Product Management to define and lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of Arm's Physical AI software portfolio. This leadership role offers the opportunity to deliver industry-leading software platforms for autonomous systems and robotics while shaping products that span the full stack-from low-level compute enablement to AI frameworks and developer experiences. You will lead a critical function in one of Arm's most strategic growth areas, building and developing a team of product managers while working multi-functionally with engineering, research, ecosystem partners, and go-to-market teams to deliver differentiated, scalable platforms aligned with Arm's long-term vision and help shape the future of Physical AI.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Strategy & Vision
  • Define the end-to-end product strategy for Physical AI software platforms, including middleware, runtime, SDKs, and AI frameworks
  • Drive innovation in platforms supporting autonomous driving, robotics, and real-world AI systems
  • Identify market opportunities through customer engagement, competitive analysis, and industry trends
  • Drive long-term roadmap planning of compute, IP, and ecosystem strategy

Execution & Delivery
  • Responsibility for the full product lifecycle from concept through development, launch, and lifecycle management
  • Translate market and customer requirements into clear, prioritized product requirements for engineering
  • Partner with engineering leadership to ensure execution aligns with product goals, timelines, and quality standards

Software Platform Leadership
  • Own product direction across multiple layers of the stack (system software, AI toolchains, robotics/autonomy stacks, developer platforms)
  • Ensure cohesive integration across hardware, firmware, and software ecosystems for safety-critical and real-time systems
  • Drive adoption through strong developer value propositions and ecosystem enablement

Interpersonal Leadership
  • Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing global product management organization
  • Establish standards for product management, including roadmap governance, prioritization, and metrics
  • Influence and align senior partners across Arm's business units and executive leadership

Ecosystem & Customer Engagement
  • Engage with key customers, partners, and industry leaders in automotive, robotics, and edge ecosystems
  • Enable sales, marketing, and field teams with clear product positioning and messaging
  • Represent Arm externally in strategic forums, partnerships, and industry events

Required Skills and Experience:
  • 15+ years in product management or related leadership roles, with significant experience in software platforms
  • Experience leading multi-functional product portfolios in AI/ML, embedded systems, or compute platforms
  • Direct experience in autonomous driving systems and/or robotics platforms, including:
  • Perception, planning, or control systems
  • Robotics middleware (e.g., ROS/ROS2) or autonomous driving stacks
  • Real-time, safety-critical software systems (e.g., ISO 26262 or similar)
  • Deep knowledge of software stacks for AI systems, including runtimes, compilers, frameworks, and developer tools
  • Experience working with heterogeneous compute (CPU, GPU, NPU, SoC) in edge or embedded environments
  • Strong commercial competence with experience building cases, product strategies, and ecosystem partnerships
  • Strong communicator, capable of influencing executive-level partners
  • Strategic problem solver with the ability to operate in ambiguity and shape new business areas
  • Desire for building and scaling high-impact, inclusive teams

'Nice to Have' Skills and Experience:
  • Experience delivering platforms for ADAS, autonomous vehicles, robotics, or industrial automation
  • Familiarity with sensor fusion, simulation environments, and digital twins
  • Background in developer platforms, open-source ecosystems, or AI frameworks
  • Masters or PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field
