Our role at SIE is to create and nurture the experiences under the PlayStation brand, a name synonymous with entertainment excellence and creativity.

Role overview:

We are seeking a Senior Fraud Strategist who is passionate about protecting our players and platforms from fraud and abuse. This role is ideal for a seasoned fraud professional who combines strong domain expertise with the ability to execute complex fraud initiatives in partnership with cross-functional teams.

As a Senior Fraud Strategist, you will contribute deep fraud subject-matter expertise, help shape and deliver fraud strategies, and lead defined workstreams across fraud mitigation initiatives. You will work closely with product, engineering, analytics, operations, and external partners to identify fraud risks, design scalable solutions, and drive measurable impact.

This role operates with a high degree of autonomy within established strategic direction and serves as a key contributor to the broader fraud vision.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Contribute to the development and execution of fraud strategy, roadmaps, and supporting capabilities across products and services
  • Translate fraud risks, customer needs, and business objectives into clear functional and technical requirements, supported by data and analysis
  • Partner with product, engineering, and analytics teams to deliver fraud mitigation initiatives from concept through implementation
  • Monitor evolving fraud and abuse trends and recommend tactical and strategic responses to mitigate current and emerging risks
  • Identify opportunities to improve fraud platforms, tools, and workflows, and help incorporate those improvements into ongoing development efforts
  • Develop business cases and value assessments to prioritize fraud initiatives and investments
  • Collaborate with internal teams and selected external vendors to ensure alignment on goals, roles, timelines, and outcomes
  • Define and track fraud metrics; contribute to regular reporting on fraud trends, program performance, and vendor effectiveness
  • Act as a trusted fraud subject-matter expert for cross-functional partners, providing guidance and insight grounded in industry best practices

 What we’re looking for:

  • 8+ years’ (or equivalent) experience in online fraud risk mitigation, trust & safety, or related domains
  • At least 3–5+ years of experience working in fraud strategy, fraud product management, or a closely related role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply data to real-world fraud challenges
  • Proven ability to manage complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders and teams
  • Clear, concise communication skills, with the ability to explain fraud concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Collaborative mindset with strong relationship-building skills across functions and geographies
  • Ability to operate independently while aligning work to broader organizational strategy
  • Flexible approach to working hours to support global business operations

Preferred skills:

  • Experience working with online payments, digital commerce, or account security systems
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and cross-functional delivery models
  • Experience supporting or partnering with fraud vendors and third-party service providers
  • Familiarity with digital media platforms, online services, or connected-device ecosystems
