About the team

Airwallex is hiring a Senior GTM Partnerships Manager to join the Canada team. We’re looking for someone with strong sales instincts, a builder mindset, and the ability to move fast.

You’ll play a key role in building Airwallex’s partnerships motion in Canada by identifying the right partners, setting the strategy, and driving revenue. This is a chance to help shape the function, grow the Airwallex brand in market, and have real ownership over outcomes.

What you’ll do

This is a senior sales role within partnerships. You’ll help define the partnerships strategy for Canada and own the partner lifecycle end-to-end, from sourcing and pitching to activation, pipeline creation, and revenue generation.

You’ll work closely with sales, marketing, strategy, and cross-functional teams to build partnerships into a meaningful growth channel for Airwallex in Canada.

This role is hybrid, based in Toronto.

Responsibilities:
  • Own and shape the partnerships strategy for Canada, identifying the right partners and building a high-impact growth channel

  • Drive partner-sourced pipeline and revenue, with clear ownership of commercial outcomes

  • Leverage your existing network to open doors, build the right partnerships, and accelerate growth in Canada

  • Lead partner relationships end-to-end, from sourcing and deal execution through activation and ongoing growth

  • Build and execute joint go-to-market plans with partners across campaigns, events, referrals, and co-selling motions

  • Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, strategy, and leadership to make partnerships a meaningful part of the Canada growth strategy

  • Track performance closely, push for conversion, and raise the bar on partnership quality and impact

Who you are

We're looking for people who meet the minimum requirements for this role. The preferred qualifications are great to have, but are not mandatory.

Minimum qualifications:
  • 5 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or sales

  • Strong network in Canada across ecommerce, tech, or other relevant commercial ecosystems

  • Strong background in sales and commercial ownership

  • Track record of driving commercial outcomes, hitting quotas, and turning partnerships into revenue

  • Experience launching, building, or scaling partnerships in a new market with a high degree of autonomy

  • High urgency, strong ownership, and a bias for action

Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience in fintech, ecommerce, tech, or a high-growth startup environment

  • Strong understanding of adjacent ecosystems relevant to Airwallex and how to turn them into commercial opportunities

  • Bilingual (French is an asset)
