About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist to join the Capital Finance Operations team within Wholesale Operations.
Capital Finance provides asset-based lending solutions to companies across the U.S., U.K., and Canada. This role supports the servicing of large, complex loans involving multiple lenders and provides leadership for critical remediation, system conversion, and process improvement efforts.
The Senior Lead will manage complex escalations specific to Asset-Based Lending Servicing and partner directly with clients, lenders, business leaders, and teams across Credit, Portfolio Management, Treasury, Risk, Technology, and Operations. This role will drive timely issue resolution, reduce operational risk, and help maintain continuity across high-risk servicing processes.
This position will also serve as a subject matter expert for servicing technology and product teams, helping prioritize system enhancements based on remediation needs, escalated issues, client impact, and business risk. Success in this role requires deep asset-based lending and loan servicing experience, strong judgment, and the ability to lead complex solutions across multiple teams.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead servicing activities for highly complex asset-based and syndicated loans involving multiple lenders
  • Lead commercial loan servicing remediation efforts from issue identification through sustainable resolution, including root cause assessment, corrective action planning, documentation, and validation support
  • Serve as a senior escalation point for significant client, lender, servicing, system, process, and control issues
  • Develop resolution strategies, communicate risks and recommendations, and drive timely closure of critical issues
  • Advise senior leaders and drive alignment across business, risk, technology, product, and operations teams
  • Evaluate complex servicing transactions, client impacts, procedural gaps, and control concerns and recommend solutions that reduce operational risk
  • Provide subject matter expertise for loan servicing system conversions, technology implementations, and process improvements
  • Coach leaders and senior specialists on complex servicing matters and remediation activities
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Asset-based lending and syndicated loan servicing experience, including complex transactions involving multiple lenders
  • Experience leading complex remediation and escalation efforts across commercial loan servicing or asset-based lending operations
  • Experience evaluating servicing, process, system, or control issues, determining root cause, and driving corrective actions through sustainable resolution
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial loan servicing, including settlements, interest and fee calculations, amendments, payoffs, reconciliations, and portfolio maintenance
  • Experience interpreting complex credit, loan, or participation agreements
  • Experience with commercial loan servicing systems, system conversions, technology implementations, or user testing
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate commercial loan servicing risk, develop recommendations, and influence decisions across multiple teams
  • Experience communicating complex loan servicing issues and resolution strategies to clients, lenders, business partners, and senior leaders

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$139,000.00 - $260,000.00
