About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an experienced Senior Lead Product Manager for Money Movement products supporting Wealth & Investment Management (WIM). This role will drive product strategy and develop the long-term roadmap for critical money movement capabilities. The role partners closely with senior business leaders, technology teams, operations, risk, and compliance stakeholders to deliver innovative, client-focused solutions that improve customer experiences, enhance operational efficiency, and support the firm's strategic objectives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate business objectives into actionable product Features and User Stories, align diverse stakeholder groups, and lead teams through complex organizational and technology change.
In this role, you will:
  • Advise leadership to develop or influence business plans, business requirements, direct product design and implementation for complex business and technical needs
  • Oversee overall product management and strategic focus for the most technical, complex and diverse products and services
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of complex and unique challenges requiring in-depth understanding of potential synergies, opportunities companywide
  • Deliver solutions that are long-term, large scale, and require consideration of global market dynamics, trends, regulatory impact, and risk management
  • Provide vision, direction and expertise to leadership on implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are strategically focused for diverse product lines
  • Articulate product vision, define scope, prioritize backlog, establish goals, and provide direction for teams to design, develop, and deliver technology and processes for updating, upgrading technologies and vendor relationships
  • Engage with leaders, stakeholders, subject matter experts, scrum masters, project managers and delivery team companywide
  • Serve as an adept advisor to leadership
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Product Management, product development, strategic planning, process management, change delivery, or agile product owner experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge and practical application of Agile and Scaled Agile delivery methodologies, including hands-on experience using JIRA.
  • 3+ years of experience leading product initiatives in money movement, payments, funds transfer, or related transformation within a large financial services organization.
  • Experience serving as a Product Owner or Product Manager with responsibility for backlog prioritization, user story development, and acceptance criteria creation.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and drive outcomes across technology, operations, risk, compliance, and business partners without direct authority.
  • Experience developing and executing product strategies, roadmaps, and long-term product vision aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Knowledge of operational, regulatory, and risk management considerations related to banking, payments, or money movement products.
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives within a highly regulated financial services environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
