We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Manager, Accounting to join our growing accounting team. This role is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing compensation accounting areas including but not limited to global payroll, bonuses, commissions, severance, 401k, payroll taxes, etc. This role is expected to ensure the integrity of financial reporting and drive scalable processes as it relates to payroll and compensation areas in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
As the Senior Manager, Accounting, you will oversee core accounting processes, ensure compliance with US GAAP, and own key aspects of the financial close and audit processes. You will partner closely with teams across Finance and the broader organization to enhance processes, support new initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.

- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants, fostering a collaborative and high performing team environment
- Own key areas of the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP
- Manage the preparation of financial statements, general ledger reconciliations, and monthly account analyses
- Ability to provide clear concise answers related to accounting variances and fluctuations to management, FP&A and other internal stakeholders
- Serve as a key point of contact for the year-end and quarterly financial statement audit requests, including internal audit and SOX requests
- Lead initiatives to improve and scale accounting processes, including automation, standardization, and optimization of workflows
- Assist in the preparation of the external financial statements and footnotes filed on a quarterly and annual basis (10-Q and 10-K’s)
- Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Legal, Tax, and operational teams to ensure proper accounting treatment and support business initiatives
- Lead or contribute to strategic projects, including system implementations, process transformations, and scaling initiatives
- Research and document the Company’s technical accounting issues; present and resolve the Company’s positions for critical accounting issues with external auditors
- Develop team capabilities, providing coaching, training, and career development opportunities for direct reports
- Minimum of 7-10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting (Big Four strongly preferred) and industry experience
- BS/BA degree in Finance or Accounting and CPA is required
- Strong technical accounting background with a knowledge of US GAAP, SOX 404, and SEC reporting standards
- Proven experience leading and developing teams, with the ability to influence beyond direct reporting lines
- Experience operating in a fast-paced, high-growth, and evolving environment
- Demonstrated ability to own and drive complex accounting areas or processes independently
- Strong experience managing audits and interacting with external auditors and senior stakeholders
- Ability to translate technical accounting concepts into clear business insights
- Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with NetSuite, FloQast, and Workiva is a plus
